Luigi grabbed any materials he could, stitching them together, and painting over cut out pieces from an old, somewhat worn down screen door he had replaced two years ago.
When he found it, he found himself wondering why he still had it.
Convenient, nevertheless.
Using what he pulled together, he built a ghastly wolf mask, with a snarling grin and wide eyes, it's pupils not matching at all.
He was disturbed just looking at it.
He couldn't quite figure out what was creepier, the mask itself or the fact that he made it.
Nevertheless, he changed his clothing to a set of dark-coloured overalls with numerous pockets, with a utility belt for extra space. He collected his chloroform, the rag he used, nails, cardboard, a few knives, a hammer, a few blood bags, and his new mask.
He turned and headed for the door again.
Was it even truthful to say he was moving? The line between the actions Luigi made on his own volition and the ones controlled by the Chaos Heart was thin and difficult to see.
Opening the door, he stepped back into what became hunting grounds.
He stalked the area for a long time, and nobody was there.
The mask grew hot, and Luigi wanted to just collapse, but he was forcibly kept on his feet and conscious.
Tears began to fill his eyes and blur his vision. This was tiring, and he wasn't allowed to rest.
Eventually, though, he heard something in the distance.
He began to draw closer to it, and he found more than he could have expected.
A search party.
He stayed close by, watching, but hidden.
Something in him was keeping track of the group, noting who would be the easiest to catch.
Soon, he had his sights on a youthful looking koopa. He seemed like he was only there because someone else wanted him to be, not because they truly wished to be present.
Luigi waited for the search party to nearly pass him before grabbing the koopa and pulling him away, quickly subduing him by a few hits to the head with a hammer.
He carefully collected the turtle-like creature's blood, keeping an ear out for the search party to be sure he can still track it.
After he was sure there was nothing left, he put the blood bags away and lifted the corpse to follow the party again.
The force the Chaos Heart was using to control him had some kind of plan, he could tell.
All he had to do was carry it out.
