They evolved as the universe evolved and eventually became people. Those two people will always be drawn back together eventually, because the atoms that they came from cannot bear to be apart."

Moonchild And The Sun
"Before the world burst into life, there was a spirit lacking light.
We call her Moonchild, named after the soft glow of her smile.
She was lonely, afraid. No light meant no guide, so she could not find her way.
Before the world burst to life, Moonchild saw no end in sight.
But off in the distance a low sound rumbled, and the spirit saw something that she hadn't for a while.
A burst of color calling her name. "Moonchild, there is no need to be afraid."
The color grew into a beautiful sight. And now Moonchild could see the light.
"Silly girl, all you had to do was open your eyes," said the spirit of light.
"Were they not open my whole life?" Moonchild spoke, still stuck in the night.
"I'm sorry you had to wait for such a long time." The light reached out, arms stretched wide.
"Let's go now, and begin the world. The people will love you, and you'll glow like a pearl."
Moonchild smiled brightly, and held tight to the light. "I am The Sun, and I will be your guide."
The spirits spent eons together. To this day, they know they'll be friends forever."
