ℙℝ𝕆𝕄ℙ𝕋: Popular girl falls for the bad boy/rebel

𝔸𝕌𝕋ℍ𝕆ℝ'𝕊 ℕ𝕆𝕋𝔼: Not the best of my works but yeah. Most of my works contain a lot of swearing and fighting, so this was fun to write. Completely different from my other stories. This took me a few hours to write and while I was at work I had to sneak my phone out to write some notes. Thankfully it wasn't busy and the assistant manager is awesome. He's always on his phone so it's alright. I read a manga YEARS ago and I can't remember the name of it but I sort of remember that a popular girl fell for the bad boy. I hope you guys enjoy it anyway.

He didn't show up for class again.

But then again he rarely showed up for any classes since he had a punch up with someone in the year below us. You'd think at 18 you would grow up a bit.

I don't remember when I first started noticing him but I was always looking for him. Whether it be in class, if he did show up, or sitting in the canteen at breaks.

I know this sounds cliche but he was so different from the other boys that gained my attention before. He was the complete opposite to me and I wasn't sure if we had anything in common. Yet I still liked him and whenever I did see him my heart raced and I got butterflies in my stomach. I wished he noticed me though.
I was sat at my desk staring at the empty table and chair where he was meant to be sitting. No one ever sat there because they were scared of him. He was known as the school's rebel. The school's bad boy. He was the boy your mother warned you about and he certainly lived up to the nickname he received.

He was always in a fight with either another student or a teacher. He skipped class to smoke, he never did any homework and if he did show up for class, it was for him to sleep or throw paper balls at the class with his friends. The teachers were scared of him. The students were scared of him.

But for me?

I found him intriguing and I wanted to get closer to him. I just knew that it was never going to happen. The school we went to practically ran on student status.

You had the rebels, the smart ones, the sporty ones and you had the popular ones, just like any other school.

I was popular within my school and everyone knew who I was. I wasn't the stereotypical popular schoolgirl compared to a few of the people I hung around with. I was nice to everyone I spoke to because life was to short to be a bitch to people. Unless you were the people in my group of course. If you didn't fit into their cliques then they hated you from day one.

I jumped as the bell rang for our next class and I had to bite into my lip to stop myself from getting too excited. I know it was stupid but it was the only class I had with him where he sat next to me. And since it was chemistry, he showed up just under half the time. Probably because he enjoyed burning things with acid.
My friend linked her arm with mine and chatted non-stop on the way to the science block. I wasn't listening and it was rude of me, but my thoughts were with the tall, brunet I was hoping to see. She gave me a hug and skipped away to another science room.
I smiled at my friends waiting outside the classroom and my thoughts disappeared once again. I wanted him to say more than two words to me in a sentence even though his voice gave me shivers.

I glanced down at my phone to check the time and when I looked back up, I caught him leaning on the wall away from every one, with his AirPods in. A layer of his dark hair was tied back showing the copious amount of earrings in his ears. His uniform was a mess but that just made him even more attractive to me. Then his legs...the legs that went on forever!
Then he looked up.

Oh god! He caught me staring at him!
My face burnt in embarrassment and I quickly looked away trying to make it look like I wasn't staring at him. When I looked up at him again, he smirked slowly at me making me bite into my lip. The sound of our classroom door opening rescued me and I quickly went to my seat at the back of the classroom.

Now I was even more nervous knowing that he caught me being a pervert!

A loud thud beside me made me jump and he chuckled.

"Oops," He said quietly, staring at me.

"Staring is rude," I muttered.

"It's only fair that I stare," He smirked, "I caught you staring at me,"

"You've had more piercings," I said, gesturing to his ear, "They look good,"

His eyes widened slightly, "You noticed?"

I lowered my head, "I notice more that you realise,"

"Huh," He said, "I didn't think Miss Popular would pay any attention to me,"

I smiled slightly, "I was always told never judge a book by its cover,"

Jungkook folded his arms and used his foot to turn my chair to face him, "You should be scared of me, Hana,"

"Without getting to know you?"

"If you're seen talking to me too much, you will lose friends,"

"Why? I am only being nice,"

Jungkook grinned, "What are you doing this weekend?"

"What?" I frowned.

He tutted, "I'm going to show you why someone as popular and loved as you shouldn't be interested in someone like me,"

"As...as in a date?" I whispered.

Jungkook's face went a deep shade of red and he scoffed loudly, "Hell no!"

"Jungkook, have you never been on a date?"

"Why the hell are you asking me something like that?!" He exclaimed jumping to his feet,

"You're weird. What is wrong with you?"

"I think it's cute,"

"Cute!" He said kicking his chair over, "Shut up! It isn't cute! You're weird!"

"Mr Jeon," The teacher snapped, "Get out of my lesson if you are going to be a problem,"
"I'm leaving," He said, stomping towards the door. He paused and turned around, just to point at me, "Just you wait, Hana. I'll show you why no one gets close to me,"

He spun around and slammed the door behind him.

"I'm looking forward to it," I whispered to myself and ducked my head down to hide the big grin on my face.

Jeon Jungkook wasn't the big bad boy everyone thought and I was going to enjoy getting to know him.
