A/N Sorry for all the time skips, I just don't want to drag the book on (also almost forgot I need to update today but here I am cause I remembered)
Liv's POV
*skip 3 more days*
Today is Tom and Emily's birthday, I've spent the last 2 days drawing them. We are all going to their house and Tom has been setting up a slip 'n' slide, yes we are aware it's winter, but they, by they I mean Tom, wanted to spend their 18th birthday acting like a child. "Happy birthday you two!" I said hugging Emily, then Tom."Thank you." They both said hugging me back.
"Hey guys." Dobby, Dylan, Dan and Nate said.
"Hey." Me, Max and Harvey responded.
"Let's get to slipping!" Max shouted, running to Tom and Emily's back garden, pulling his shirt off so he was just in his swimming trunks.
"Careful Max, you've only recently been able to do a back flip again, sliding on your stomach isn't the best, but mum's letting you because you said you'd be careful." Harvey said sternly.
"Is being nearly an adult setting in Harvey?" Tom asked, laughing.
"No, mum will literally kill me if Max injures his stomach, or Liv has an asthma attack." Harvey said, laughing at the 'mum will literally kill me' bit, then going serious.
"Luckily I-" I reached into my pocket, and didn't feel my inhaler. "Scratch that, I don't have my inhaler, I'll be back in about half an hour." I said, and began to walk to the door.
"I'll come with you." Harvey said, and followed me. "We'll be back." Harvey grabbed my hand and we began to walk out the door.
"If you two aren't back in half an hour, I'm gonna call mum and tell her you're making out somewhere." Max laughed, earning a scowl off Harvey.
"We'll be back in half an hour, 40 minutes at most." I laughed pulling Harvey outside.
"He may be half of me, but it doesn't stop me wanting to kill him, when he's being annoying." Harvey laughed.
"Please don't kill Max." I laughed. Before we knew it, we were at my house, I unlocked the door, and me and Harvey went in. "Hey mum!" I shouted.
"Hi Olivia!" She shouted back.
"I came to get my inhaler, we're leaving right after I find it!" I shouted.
"It's in the back room! You left it in your jeans yesterday so I put it on the side!" She responded.
"Thank you!" I shouted, I went to the back. I saw Daisy's old collar hung on the draw and lost it. Daisy only wore the orange collar on long walks, which she loved. I got my inhaler and got out of the house, as fast as I could.
"What was that about?" Harvey asked me, I couldn't form words, so I just hugged him, and began to cry. "Shhhhhh, it's ok, it's ok." Harvey soothed, hugging me and stroking my hair behind my ears, I slowly calmed down. "I messaged Max, he knows we're going to be a bit longer, do you want to go back to Tom, or do you want to sit here for a bit?" He asked me.
"Stay here for a few minutes then go." I said.
"That's fine, so do you want to tell me what happened? You don't have to though." Harvey said, as we sat down at a tree and I rested my head on his shoulder.
"I saw her collar, I couldn't cope." I said, as a single tear dripped down my cheek, Harvey wiped it away with his thumb.
After about 5 minutes, we decided to walk back to Tom and Emily's, Harvey messaged Max when we were on our way back. When we got back to Tom and Emily's, they were all on the slip 'n' slide. "Let's go!" Harvey said, and dragged me to the slip 'n' slide.
