Mia's pov:
1 day left. 1 day left until I'll be enjoying and chilling in Hawaii with Billie. Oh my god, I can't wait.
"Have you packed your things already?" My dad asked
"Not yet I'll be packing them later"
"Well you can make a list 'what to pack' before you actually pack it so you don't forget anything"
"That's actually a good idea I'll definitely do that thanks"
"Of course" He smiled and walked out of my room.
"Uhm dad?" I call
"Yeah?"
"Olivia will be coming today"
"Uhm..." He looked at me confused
"Dad" I made a serious face "Your other daughter, Olivia my older sister"
"Oh yeah of course sure"
"Yeah" I looked at him "Thought you forgot for a second"
"Oh no I could never of course I didn't forget about her"
"Mhm" He literally forgot. Fuck. I am so pissed.
I hear the front door open.
"Mia?" I could hear my sister's voice from afar
"OLIVIA!" I run downstairs and hug her
"I missed you" She says in my ear
"Hi" my dad comes behind me. Olivia pulls away from the hug.
"Hi Peter" She said and crossed her arms
He got closer to hug her but she moved away
"Ah, c'mon aren't you at least a little bit happy I'm back?"
"No" She answered
"I know you both hate me but we can't stay like this forever I literally apologized-"
"Shut up Peter I don't care. Fuck you. Mia let's go to your room"
"Want anything to eat or-"
"No"
"Okay" We went upstairs to my room
"Dude why did you let him stay?" Olivia asked
"I don't know"
"This is so fucked up" She sighs
"He's my dad after all I can't just leave him on the streets-"
"Why do you even care? Do you realize how much he fucked up this family since he left?"
"I know" I look down
"Look you're 18 and you need to think mature-"
"What would you do?"
"I wouldn't let him stay the fuck?" She gave me a look
"He promised he'd get a job and stay until he earns some money so he can buy an apartment-"
"MIA THAT COULD LAST A YEAR YOU WANT THIS ASSHOLE HERE FOR MORE THAN A YEAR?"
"No, but it would be nice to at least have one family member in this house with me"
"Ugh, Mia" Olivia shook her head and sighed.
We just sat on my bed in silence. I kept thinking about this situation with dad. It's been pretty good since he's here and he's taking care of me. I don't know.
