Billie's pov:

I was currently talking to my team about the music video idea for Everything I Wanted. It's pretty boring. I'd rather be with Mia right now. She has been pretty bad lately. I asked her if she wanted to stay at my place for a while but she said she'd rather stay home. I'm concerned about her. I hope she's okay. Whatever was written in that fucking paper destroyed her. She didn't want to show me what it was. I understood because is probably something about her dad. Or sister. Or mom. I don't know. I was there the whole day because she wouldn't stop crying. I didn't mind tho. I'll stay with her whenever she needs me. I'll be there for her. I promised that to myself and her. I want to make her happy. Her happiness matters a lot to me. I really want nothing but her to be happy. 

"Billie!" my manager Justin yelled

"Look you came here to talk about the idea for the music video now you're the one who's not concentrated and keeps zoning out." he told me

"Yeah sorry"

"Please concentrate"

I kept thinking about Mia. I just want to be there with her. 

"Mhm" I reply

After the meeting ended Finneas drove me to his place. I didn't say anything the whole ride. I wasn't in a good mood.

"Are you okay? What happened Billie?" Finneas asked me

"I'm fine everything is okay" I lie

"Please Billie I know you. What's up?" 

"IT'S NOTHING OKAY?" I yell at him

He just goes quiet. He drives to his place. I say hi to Claudia and went straight to their bathroom. I pull out my phone and call Mia.

"Hi" she answers

"Hi, I just called to check on you. You okay baby?" I ask

"Billie that's really nice but you don't need to check on me every second and yes I'm okay" she replied

"Really?"  

"Yes really" she let out a small chuckle

"I had a meeting with my team and I couldn't stop thinking about you" I smile

"What was it about?"

"Huh?"

"The meeting, what was it about?"

"Oh uh... nothing special" I lied. I wanted to surprise her with the music video. 

"That's cute I've been thinking about you too Bils" 

"I love you I'm gonna go now okay? I'm at Finneas'"

"Okay have fun I love you"

"Take care bye" I ended the call

I walked downstairs. Finneas and Claudia both looked at me.

"Hi again"

"You were in the bathroom for a long time... everything okay?" Finneas asked

"Yeah" I roll my eyes and sit down

Peaches runs and jumps on the couch. She was wiggling her tail and then suddenly jumped on me and started licking me.

"Peaches" I started laughing "Get off me you stupid dog" I tried pushing her head from me 

"Peach get off" Claudia starts laughing and tries to get Peaches off me.
