⚠️mention of drugs⚠️

Two days had passed since Anthony and I's "interaction". No one was home besides myself and I was going to use that as my advantage. There is no way in hell my mother has no pictures

Mom, Anthony, and Ben were supposedly in Diagonal Alley because my mother had to meet her boss but I have no idea where she works.

I opened my brothers door to make sure he wasn't in there and I decided to snoop around a little. No harm could necessarily be done, unless I really wanted to do harm. Bens room was boring as all hell, he had nothing but his desk, bed, and a poster of the Kenmere Kestrals.

Ben and I used to play or act like we were playing quidditch when we were little. Once we got older we used the brooms we got for Christmas to actually play. We wouldn't play with a snitch we'd just play with the quaffle until one of us reached however many points. It sounds boring with only two people but we made the best of it.

I didn't find anything until I looked under his bed. A little metal lunch box. I reached my hand under and pulled it out. The metal was cold against my hand but I was eager to open it, I'm sure I already knew what was inside.

I clicked open the box and inside was exactly what I expected. A bunch of rolled up blunts but, where the hell did Ben get this shit. I'm sure if I took one he wouldn't notice and if he did well Ill just tell him I took it there's no point in lying.

I took one of the however many there were in there out and slid the box back under his bed. Before I closed his door I made sure everything was the way it was before I came in.

I went back to my room and set the blunt down on my desk behind the flower pot. I had a lighter somewhere but at the moment I don't remember where.

Now to moms room.

Her bedroom was at the end of the hallway, Ben and I were never allowed to be in her room unless she was in there and that rule still stands. I'm not sure if she's hiding something or if she's just that kind of parents. I opened the door slowly and stuck my head in just to double check no one was there.

I slid my body through the small opening I had and shut the door softly behind me. Her room was dark, not like dark I couldn't see but gloomy. Her bedsheet were black, her dresser, side table, everything black. Nothing is wrong with that of course but the rest of our house is colorful.

I opened one of her drawers only to find her glasses, pens, letters, and candy. Nothing In there could help me. I closed the drawer and walked to her closet. Wait, letters. She wrote to Lupin which means he must've wrote back. I ran back over to the table and picked up the little stack of letters she has. I looked through only finding ones from Grandma and Ben until I reached the bottom. One single letter signed by the name Remus J. Lupin.

I took the letter and folded it back of putting it in my hoodie pocket. I was definitely invading my parents privacy but for good reasons.

I walked over to my mothers closet and opened it. She had her formal clothes on one side and her T-shirts and hoodies on the other. She always kept any type of pictures in boxes so I looked down and to my luck I found a bunch of boxes.

Some filled with pictures of me and Ben when we went to the park or when we'd play quidditch. Some from Christmas morning and Easter.

I found one, the only picture my mother had of me playing quidditch. It was when I threw the quaffle into the hoop. We ended up winning that game and it was the best thing that had happened to me the whole year.

I put the pictures back into the box and slid it over to where it was. As I  sat it down I noticed a piece of the closet wall was a different color then the rest and it also wasn't connected. I moved the mall piece of wall over and not to my surprise was a small box probably filled of pictures my mom didn't want us to see.
