One day after another

Dreaming the night away

I had just realized what i said to george, oh my god am i dumb? He hasn't said anything why isn't he saying anything? George started smiling and he quickly began to speak.

"Why Thank you but i'd like to say you're much better looking" he said still looking into my eyes and smiling.

"Well thank you georgie...not to break up whatever this is but shouldn't we get back"

"Yeah we probably should"

His grip on me loosened and suddenly got cold. I didn't realize how warm he was. We walked back to the common room not really seeing anyone, George told the fat lady the password and we walked through the right hall that lead to the common room. I went to head up to bed before George called my name.

"Claire"

"Yeah?"

"Let's do that again sometime, Goodnight sweet dreams"

"Goodnight Georgie"

I walked up to mine and Hermiones room with a big smile on my face. I was happy and i did not want this feeling to go away.

"Where have you been, Claire it's late we have classes tomorrow?" Hermione says yelling at me but concerned

"Oh hey why are you still up and i was just with George in the Astronomy tower"

"Oh well i was worried i didn't know where you went"

"Don't worry mione, not gonna get rid of me that fast"

She smiled and laid down pulling the blanket up to cover her. I went to the bathroom to change into my night clothes and brush my teeth. I got in bed and i quickly fell asleep.

"Claire I need to talk to you"

"Um okay Georgie what's up is everything okay"

"I know i asked someone else to the ball but i've come to realize i don't want to go with her please i'm sorry. I want to go with you i really do and i messed up i've noticed that just let me make this one thing right"

"George what are you gonna do about Angelina, she's not gonna be okay with that and what about Draco i'm supposed to go with him remember. I'm sorry but this isn't right."

"Please, she can go with Fred for all i care i don't want to go with her i want to go with you and screw Draco i know you're only going with him to make me mad"

"Well then you should've thought about that before taking her to our spot and asking her huh"

"Claire don't act like this, i'm sorry okay"

George started walking up to me placing his hand on my cheek rubbing my face with his thumb. I gave in, i can't stay mad at him even tho i should be.

"George, i'm not going to the ball with you. You did this to yourself and-"

I woke up instantly not understanding what was going on, I thought what was happening was real. I looked around my room and finally coming to my senses it was just a dream. It was 3:45am and i didn't have to be awake for another few hours. I never dream so why am i dreaming now. Whatever it's not a big deal. I lay my head back down on my pillow and closing my eyes but before i can fall back asleep the only thing i can think of is "where is Georges and I's spot? Why does he want to go the the ball with me? Why and i going to the ball with Draco?". Before realizing i had drifted off to sleep and not having another dream after that.

"Claire get up" Hermione says smacking me in the face with a pillow

"Alright alright i'm getting there
calm down" i tell her as i sit up realizing i really only have 15 minutes to get ready. I get up and quickly get dressed. I brush my hair and teeth and throw on some light makeup and grab my shoes. I was finally ready with 5 minutes left to spare so i grabbed my bag and go to the common room. I walk into the common room and see George, Fred, and Lee talking about only god knows what.

"Good morning boys"

Good morning sleepy head" George says smiling at me

I immediately remembered my dream from last night but i didn't have much time to think about it because George was dragging me down to the great hall. I could hear him going on and on about how his toes still hurt bc i stepped on them so much but i knew he was just over reacting.

"So today we're gonna go back up to the tower and actually try to dance this time, okay? And you are actually going to try"

"Okay, Okay fine whatever you say but could you please shut up about your poor little toes i'm sure they're fine"

"I'll shut up about my toes when you stop stepping on them"

Before i realized i was somehow stepping on his foot and being honest i have no clue how. "Oh my god i'm sorry" i said while laughing. We walk into the great hall and we started eating. I didn't care who was around i was starving so i ate more than i normally would. I think George started to notice so i slowed down a bit and then i realized i ate to much, i'm gonna be sick. I quickly get up and run out of the great hall and i'm pretty sure George is following me. I wasn't gonna make it to the bathroom so i had to run into the closest classroom and with my luck it was Professor Lupins room. I found the closest trash can and i'm pretty sure everything i ate came out of me then and there and it was not a pretty sight. I look over to see George grabbing my hair and holding it so it doesn't get in my face. I felt my eyes get warm and they began to fill with tears, i was embarrassed i didn't want George to watch me throw up thats just gross.

"Hey, hey it's okay don't cry let it out"

"George why did you follow me this is nasty, I don't want you in here while i'm throwing up"

"Well you also don't want puke to get in your hair do you love"

"No not really"

What did he just call me? Does he call everyone that? Besides feeling noxious i felt butterflies in my stomach. Professor Lupin walked into his room and noticed George and I.

"Miss Thompson, are you alright?"

"Oh yes um i just got sick and i wasn't gonna make it to the bathroom i'm sorry"

"It's alright no need to apologize, George why don't you take her to the common room i'll let the other professors know. Eat this it might help"

He handed me a piece of chocolate and i wasn't sure if i should eat it or not but i sucked it up and ate it. George stood up and held his hand out for me to take, i grabbed his hand and without me realizing he put his arm around my shoulder and we walked back to the common room. I still felt really noxious but i don't think anything else is gonna come up, at least i hope not.
