One day after another

Letters

I woke up to the sun in my eyes and a blanket draped across my body. I sat up scanning the room as I stretched my body. Neither my uncle or father were where they were last night.

I stood up wrapping the blanket around my body taking it with me throughout the house. I walked into the dining hall where a note was left next to my book.

'Be back soon we went to get breakfast, love you- Dad'

I smiled to the note setting it inside the cover of my book. I heard the door open as they were already back. Loud laughter was heard as the door closed, Sirius walked in with a bag in one hand and a coffee in the other and my father had coffees in both hands.

"This one dear is yours" My uncle says handing me the cup.

I take a drink spitting it out immediately. One from how hot it was and two from it being straight black coffee.

"Really Sirius, I told you she'd spit it out now I have to clean it up OFF OF MYSELF!" my father yelled laughing.

My eyes went wide as Sirius cried from laughing. He held onto the chair in-front of him as he laughed hysterically at my father who had coffee all over his front.

He set the two other coffees down onto the table as he walked out of the room. My uncle finally calmed down after a few minutes of my father being gone, he breathed slowly as we looked at each other.

"Was it that funny?" I ask him.

He nodded his head yes as my father came back in with new clothes on and a few napkins in his hands. He sat the napkins down on the table as he pulled himself out a chair.

Pulling the bag closer to him my uncle and I sat down next to him as he handed out breakfast. I had gotten two breakfast burritos along with my father and Sirius.

We ate breakfast and talked amongst each other for a while until we all finished. I excused myself throwing my trash away and going up to my bedroom.

I grabbed my clothes changing quickly. I found a light pink spaghetti strap sun dress that had small white flowers printed on the fabric. I threw on my white high rise converse as I left a note on the table that told them I was going to the nearest cafe.

I walked down the street with my bag hanging off my shoulder. Inside was a pen, some parchment, and my book. I was going to write to George and Fred along with Ginny and Hermione. I know it had only been one day but I missed them all terribly.

Finally I made my way and sat down at a table outside. I put on my heart shaped sunglasses as I sat down at the white table. A waiter had come over and asked for my order, a raspberry iced tea with a few sugars.

I pulled out my parchment, writing to George first.

'Dear Pony,
I know it's only been one day but I miss everyone terribly. Im hanging out with someone tonight, the guy from the beach! I saw him at a book store last night and he asked if I wanted to when he walked me home. Tonight my father is going to leave and then I will shortly after him. How are you doing? How is your mother and brothers along with Ginny? Write me back Pony.

I folded the parchment and placed it into the envelope then getting another piece now writing to Fred.

'Dear Freddie,
How've you been? How's it going with the shop and the supplies? I miss you all terribly even though it's only been a day! Tonight my father leaves since it's a full moon so it'll be Sirius and I for just a bit. I told George but I'll tell you too I guess, I'm hanging out with the guy from the beach! I'm pretty sure you were talking to his sister when I came back. Anyways I have a few more letters to write. Love you Freddie.
