"I love you."

Mike said, his eyes full of love and affection, staring deeply into Kara's deep ocean eyes, gleaming with tears filled with love and happiness. Kara stared at him, her eyes filled with emotions; happiness, love, gratefulness, freedom, light. Mike softly touched her cheeks, caressing it as she softly–ever so softly–grabbed her neck and pulled her towards him, Kara's eyes fluttered and slowly closed as she felt his lips connect with her's; fitting like a puzzle.

"Cut!" Jonn said, making them slowly open their eyes and slowly move their lips away from each other but their foreheads are still connected.

"Great job, both of you! That was an amazing scene, thank you," he said, clapping his hands; the same goes for the staff and other casts watching.

The two both giggled, smiled at each other. They are proud.

"That's a wrap for season one!" Jonn said loudly, causing the whole cast and crew to clap their hands. They have been filming for months and now they were finally able to film their last episode. "Now, let me tell you first. This show is supposedly just a short one–twenty episode tops. But because of the high ratings, we–together with the network and some people–are talking about another season. But for now, let's enjoy the fruits of our hard work!"

The whole cast and crew are now in a restaurant that they booked–a simple space for privacy and a simple celebration with lots of food and some drinks. Everyone is having a great time. Lots of stories are being told with lots of laughter.

At the very end of the table, the two stars of the show have their own little world. They are talking to each other while eating, smiling from ear to ear, and laughing.

"Do you mind if I ask you something?" Mike suddenly asks after they laugh about something that Kara was talking about. "Don't worry, it's not about... a sensitive topic. I just sort of need your opinion. It's regarding you. It's up to you."

"Wait, what? That's kinda... alarming to say the least."

Mike chuckled. "No, no. Just... just a question. Yeah, just a question. It won't hurt," he said, making Kara confused because she's not sure if he's talking to her or himself at that point. She nodded, motioning him to continue. "So, uh, for the past months that we've worked together and we've shared a lot of things about us, I have felt mixed emotions and feelings towards you. Last night, I reflected and I concluded that after this show–whether it's the first and last season or if it will be followed by more seasons–I don't wanna lose you. I want to... try it out," he breathed out. Kara somehow got what he was implying but still is confused. "In short, would you like to go out with me?"

Kara nodded, finally understanding what he meant by 'try it out' but she can't process what she just heard. She went out with some of her co-workers including James but it never became serious because they both decided that it's best if they are just friends. And of course, Adam, the only man she was so 'sure' about but someone who just hurt her.

Kara cleared her throat. "Go out? Like a... like a date?"

"Yes, like a date. Just.. just to try and make it work, you know? I won't ask for too much, I promise that we will take it slow," Mike stuttered.

Kara chuckled. "You're adorable, y'know that? But yes, of course, I'd love to go out and get to know you better," she nodded then sighed. "But... I want to take it slow, okay? Not that I don't want to have a relationship, I'm just scared, that's all."

Mike nodded. "Yes, yes, of course, I understand."

When the day of their date came, they just had a very special, private evening that Mike prepared in a private garden. The place is filled with different flowers, a table for two at the middle, and there are lights around some of the trees surrounding the area to lighten up the mood. There are also candles around and some rose petals scattered beautifully on the floor.
