Chapter 23~Literal Family Reunions

So I've made a decision to finish just this book and have it be the last one.I was originally gonna have 4 books to the series but since I really don't like the story,I wanted to delete it.Thanks to @haileygregg,she's convinced me to finish this book and end the series.She is also my best friend so go follow her if you're not already.Anyway this will only have about at most ten more chapters. ~ Alexis ♥

Alexis's P.O.V.

You could almost hear the tension in the air with how quiet it was.Nobody said a word.Just stared sadly at the ground while we rolled our suitcases across the dark wood of the One Direction house.

"We're gonna miss you guys loads." Eleanor spoke up for the first time this morning.She wouldn't stop wiping her eyes,giving me the hint that she was about to cry.I stepped and wrapped my arms around her. "We just got you back Alexis." Liam said.

I couldn't hold it in anymore.Tears ran down my cheeks,making me silently thank myself for not putting on makeup this morning.

This last week went by much too fast for my liking.It feels like we just got back with the boys,now we already have to leave.Don't get me wrong,I'm stoked to play in the other places in the UK,but I really don't wanna leave.

"It was really nice meeting you guys.We had a really great time here." Hailey said.The rest of the band agreed,saying how much fun they had and how they're sad to leave.I still hadn't said anything.

I just can't believe its already been a week.

"I'm gonna miss you all so much." I finally said.All 16 of us(yes 16) formed a group hug,some crying,some wanting to cry.We all said another good bye,until the driver had to come and tell us that we wouldn't get to Manchester on time if we didn't leave.We got onto the the bus,the figures of my family getting smaller until I couldn't see them.

1 week later....

"In the end,as you fade into the night,ohohoh,who will tell the story of your life? Ohohoh And who will remember,your last goodbye? Cause its the end,and I'm not afraid,I'm not afraid to die."

Andy Biersacks's voice rang through my earbuds.For like a year now I've listened to Black Veil Brides when stressed.

After a week of shows in the UK we finally were on our way to Australia.I was more nervous then ever,because being in Australia meant that I had to meet the the familys.Not really nervous about Calum,Ashton's and Michaels family,but Luke's.I had already met them,when we got to there a few years ago.But like everybody else,I haven't seen them in 3 years.Luke has tried to assure me,that they'll be happy to see me after so long.

But so far that hasn't helped my nerves.

What will his family think of me?

Will the think I'm not good enough for Luke?

I couldn't think straight,and before I knew it I had fallen asleep on Lukes shoulder.

"Lex,I already told you,they loved you 3 years ago,they're gonna love you now." Luke said for probably the 7th time today. "I know but that's not easing my nerves.What will they think of me now? I dress a lot differently then I did back then,I died my hair,and if you haven't noticed I'm not as innocent as I was 3 years ago."

I took a breath of air.Luke looked at me with a 'Really?' face. "Alexis," oh shit.He never uses my name unless he's completely serious. "I love you more than anything.I wanna spend the rest of my life with you.And if they don't understand that,then.it doesn't matter,because you're my everything and nothing will change that." Tears welled up in my eyes,shooting my arms around his neck.

"Thank you Luke.I love you too." I said into his neck,pulling away to give him a sweet kiss.

"Good,now we have to go before my mum calls and asks where we are."

Oh there's the fact that-

"Lex." Luke's voice broke me from my thoughts.I looked out the window at the house I haven't seen in forever.Taking Luke's hand,I stepped out of the car.

Luke lead me to the front door,motioning me to knock on the door.Taking a deep breath,I brought up my fist and banged it against the door softly.Seconds passed,and the door opened to reveal the one and only Liz Hemmings.

"Oh! Alexis look how you've grown." She said immediately,pulling me by the hand inside. "Nice to see you too mum." Luke said from behind me.I laughed,already feeling my nerves ease.He gave me an 'I told you so' look.

"Hello sweetie." She gave Luke a quick hug before turning back to me. "My God Alexis,you're even more beautiful than you were back then," I blushed. "Thank you Liz,its been a long time.I've missed you."

"I've missed you too,now c'mon.The rest of the family is in the living room." She ushered us to follow her.I widened my eyes,taking a few steps back to Luke. "Luke Hemmings,did she just say the rest of the family?" I asked through gritted teeth.

"Yes," he whispered sheepishly. "I knew you wouldn't wanna come of I told you today was the family reunion."

What.

"Luke!" Everybody in the crowded living room yelled.He went around,me on his arm,saying hi and introducing me to his many family members.Once the introductions were over with,we went and sat by Liz.

"So,Alexis,how have you been? You're in a band now,right? How's that been?"

"Its been great,they're my best friends and we're travelling the world together so things couldn't be better." I explained with a smile on my face.

"What about me." Luke said with a pout. "Oh yeah you too Luke." I joked.

All in all,things went great.The next few days in Australia are gonna be great.
