We Meet Again (Sequel to Twist Of Fate)

Chapter 20~ 2nd,1st date.

Alexis's P.O.V.

I stood in the shower,the water running down my back as I listened to the frantic yells of my best friends.For the past 30 minutes I've been taking my time in the shower,while the girls looked through my suitcase looking for my outfit for Luke and mines date tonight.

Finally I rinsed out my hair and shut off the shower.I reached for the white hotel towel and squeezed out my hair before wrapping it around my body.Stepping out,I adgusted to the cold air before shutting off the vent and stepping out the bathroom.My eyes widened,scanning over the various pieces of clothing covering me and Jules's hotel room.

"Have you guys found an outfit or is the tornado gonna circle back around?" I asked sarcasticly,still looking at the mess. "No we found one,Jules just thought she lost her necklace but it was in her purse the whole time." Rae explained.

I rolled my eyes.Of course Jules would do something like that,she's Jules. "You're outfits on the bed." My eyes went the the edge of my bed,a cream coloured sweater,light blue shorts with a faded england flag on the left side,and light brown docs.

After getting changed and putting on my makeup,I dug through my bag of jewelry and picked out a gold ruby necklace with little horns and a devils tale.Luke had bought it for me for my 15th birthday.He said it represented me;not that I'm mean but beautiful on the outside,and so much more on the inside.Its honestly one of my favourite pieces of jewelry.

"Lex,Luke's here.Are you ready?" Once I clipped the necklace on,I nodded,taking a deep breath.

"Relax Alexis,tonight will be great.You'll have a great time with Luke,and possibly get back together." I gave myself a pep talk.Finally I turned around and walked to the door.

Standing their was Luke in his usual attire;ripped black skinny,boots,quiffed hair and his black YOU COMPLETE MEss shirt.

(Its honestly my favourite shirt on him)

"Hello Lucas." I greeted him.He smiled,his dimples defined. "Hello Alexis,ready for our date?" I nodded.Giving one last wave to the girls i shut the hotel door,walking hand in hand with Luke down the hallways and elevator.Since he asked me out a few weeks ago,we've started acting like we did before anything with Jason happened.Best friends.

When we were first reunited,everything was awkward,then we all got comftorable and acted as if we were never separated plus the girls.Then the thing with Jason happened,and we were right back to awkward.Now it feels again as if none of this ever happened,and I was happy.

We got into a rental car Luke got specificly for our date and we drove to the pier where the amusement park would be held.We talked and sang along to random songs on the radio,laughing at how ridiculous we probably looked,and before we new it we were parking a few yards away from the pier entrance.

"I just noticed your necklace." Luke said,as we walked through the entrance. "I didn't think you still had it after all this time." He blushed. "Yeah,I just thought it would be a perfect time to wear it on our 2nd,1st date.And you gave it to me when everything was perfect,I couldn't throw it away." He didn't say anything but I could tell that he was more than happy judging by his smile.

Once we had payed(Well Luke payed,even though I insisted I pay for mine)Luke led me to the line to the ring toss.At first I was confused but then my eyes landed on the jumbo stuffed penguins,hanging off the side of the stand.

"Luke you can win me a penguin when we leave,I don't feel like carrying that thing around all night." He pouted but mumbled a 'fine' and intertwined our hands.

"Let's go on splash mountain!" I said excitedly.This would have to be my favourite ride,and especially with the hot Miami weather getting splashed by water would be great.And the line wasn't so long with was also good.

We hopped into one of the logs,strapping in and waiting for the ride to start.When it did,we enjoyed the peaceful first minute and laughed loudly when going down the hill,getting hit by the cold water.

Me and Luke explored the lit up scene,getting on rides and stopping for a churro which we shared.We took a selfie,Luke putting it on his twitter making it official that we were on a date.

"Can I win you a penguin now?" Luke whined.Considering how late it actually was I figured we would be leaving soon anyway,so I agreed.Luke punched the air,me laughing at how enthusiastic he was at winning me a prize.

We waited in line for a good 5minutes before it was our turn.Luke grabbed the 5 plastic rings,his eyes focused on the glass bottles only ten feet away from him. "You have to get at least 4 for a regular prize and 5 for a jumbo." The attendant explained.One by one,Luke tossed the rings,each surprisingly hooking onto a bottle.He cheered,so overly excited that he had sucessfully won me the jumbo penguin.

The man took the toy off the hook,handing it to Luke.We stepped away from the stand,Luke handing me the plush toy. "Your such an idiot." I laughed.I could tell he wanted to say something like "But I'm your idiot" or "But you love me" but decided against it.

"Let's go on the ferris wheel." Luke,once again took my hand,dragging me to line.I took out my phone,looking at the time.It read 8:43,me telling Luke that this would be our last ride.He agreed.

Finally we got onto the cart.I thanked God that I nor Luke were afraid of heights.

"You know this has been really fun." I spoke up as we glided up. "I think so too,glad that your having a good time." Right as he finished his sentance the ride haulted to a stop.I also noticed how we were at the very top. "This date couldn't get any more cliché." I laughed.

"Hey,I like cliché moments." Luke said in mock defense. "I know you do."

"Lex?"

"Hm?" I turned my head from the ocean view to Luke's eyes. "I love you." I smiled. "I love you too Luke." We leaned in until the gap between our bodies was gone,and our lips were pressed together.It felt like its been forever since I've gotten to kiss Luke,you besides the time I was drunk.

And then fireworks went off.Literally.
