Chapter 10~Memories

Alexis's P.O.V.

1 month later...

So its been like a month since we found out that we were going on tour with 5SOS.Since then it hasn't been as awkward as it was in the beginning.Maybe its cause we all actually started talking a bit,but it could also be that its been a month and we don't really have a choice but to make some form of physical contact with each other before we go on tour.Which is next month so that's exciting.

"Hey Lex?" Hailey popped her head into my room,where I was slipping on my boots. "Yeah?"

"Luke wanted to know off you wanted to go to starbucks with him,but he was too scared that you were gonna say no so he asked me to ask you." She sent me a smile.

Before I could give her a response,a deep groan came from the hallway and Luke appeared in my doorway. "Hailey you weren't supposed to tell her that.I only told you to ask her." He rolled his eyes,a small pink tint to his cheeks.She just let out a laugh. "Sorry Lucas I couldn't help it." And walked away.

Luke turned to me,his cheeks now redder than ever. "So...do you want to?" He had this hopeful look in his eyes that somehow made me say yes. "Yeah..why not?" He broke out into a huge grin. "Great c'mon!" And he ran off.

Its a good thing I was ready.I wore a yellow take top that said ENDLESS NIGHTS,black sequence covered shorts,and black ankle boots.I slipped in my black feather earrings with a matching cartilage one on the other side,and one of those long rings that covers ¾ of my finger.

As I was grabbing my bag,I felt this wave of guilt hit me like a slap in the face.Luke was basically asking me out on a starbucks date.And if I didn't already have a boyfriend,I would probably be all up to maybe get a chance with Luke again.But now that I think about it,I'm basically cheating on Jason,and Luke doesn't even know.

I guess I'll just have to explain to him that this isn't a date and its just a way for us to hang out as friends.

"Are you coming?"Luke voice startled me. "What?..oh uh..yeah." I waved to the others as we walked out the door.Luke walked me to their car,opening my door for me,and jogging to the other side,slipping in beside me.

For the past month,him and the guys have been coming over a lot,since they found out where all of our houses were.This week my parents were gp,going on a business trip,and considering how busy I've been,my parents made Chris stay with our grandparents.The guys are taking advantage of this and they've been coming almost everyday,as they have 2 months off after finishing the their most recent tour.

The drive there was silent,but not the awkward silence that I was expecting.It was surprisingly comftorable,as if we hadn't been separated for 3 years and suddenly reunited.After a few minutes a driving we were parking into our local starbucks.

Once out of the car,Luke came up and opened the door for me.I laughed at his attempt to be polite. "What a gentlemen." I sarcastically told the blonde.He rolled his eyes,but let out a soft,breathy chuckle.We walked into the shop,the aroma of coffee and pastries filling my nostrils.

Being here,and with Luke brought back so many memories.I could remember the time Luke took me to starbucks.We did live in London so there weren't as many starbucks stores as there are in america,but I had never got to go there before they adopted me,so Luke drove me to the closest one,saying that I had to try starbucks at least once in my life.Fortuatley,the closest one was about 6 miles away,so I got to have a nice long car ride with my boyfriend.

But,that was all in the past and now I'm grown up,and things are different.None of that could be brought back.

"Hello,what can I get you?" The middle aged woman asked us as we advanced towards the counter. "I'll have a Caramel Mochioto,and a blueberry muffin." I smiled.She nodded,and punched in the order. "And for you sir?"
