Chapter 19~2nd Chances

Alexis's P.O.V.

"Alexis?" Someone knocked on the door,waking me up from my dreamless nap.I guess after all that crying I somehow fell asleep. "Yes?"

"Its Luke...can I come in." I didn't bother trying to wipe the dry tears from my face before I answered. "Sure." I sighed.The metal door creaked open,Luke slowly walking in,to the couch and sat down next to me,not taking his eyes off the floor.

We stayed silent for while before he finally broke his stare from the floor and looked at me. "I'm sorry." He said. "Sorry for what? You didn't do anything to hurt me." I told him.I wasn't lying;he had nothing to be sorry about.

He looked completely confused,so I continued talking. "All you did was write a song about our past song,and sung it at your concert.My feelings aren't hurt.I wasn't crying cause I was sad.I was crying because I was so overwhelemed by the lyrics.Ever since I had to leave all 9 of you-my only family that I had for a long time-behind,the past has been a really sensitive topic.And when I looked into your eyes,I thought of the past...but I'm fine now,in case you were wondering."

Again he waited a few seconds to say anything. "Can you give me a second chance?"

"What?" I didn't fully understand what he was asking. "Can you give me a second chance? Look,Lex,I've fallen in love with you all over again.I know it sounds crazy,but over the past 3 years I still liked you but these past months made me fall in love with you again,and you probably don't feel the same but I just need another chance." It didn't take an expert to know that Luke liked me,but I just didn't know he loved me.

"Luke,I like-and maybe possibly love-you too,but I don't know how it would work if we got back together." His face seemed to light up once I said that I liked him also.

"Please,you don't have a boyfriend,we're already on tour together,there's nothing keeping us apart." Luke begged.I guess he did have a point;neither management nor tour are keeping us from seeing each other and I no longer have a boyfriend.

I sighed in defeat. "Fine,I'll give us another chance." I smiled Luke. "Yes,thank you!" I laughed at his enthusiasm. "So,you'll go on a date with me?"

"Yes Luke,I'll go on a date with you.But I don't know when we're gonna go on a date,we have shows almost every night." He looked in thought for a moment. "We have a day off next Friday,we'll be in Miami so I can take you to the amusement park since I know you love going to those." I agreed,still laughing to myself about how excited he was.

"Its a date then."

The girls squealed once I told them the news. "Its about fucking time,after like almost 3 months,your finally gonna get back together." Rae said. "You should've seen when we dated before,took almost 4 months before we finally confessed and started dating." I said with wide eyes,not really remembering the times before I dated Luke.

"Well we're happy,that things won't be awkward anymore." Hailey let out a sigh of relief. "Can I say something?" Jules spoke up. "Sure,what is it?" I looked at my cousin,waiting for her to say whatever she needed to say.

"Ashton asked me out." My eyes widened,a wide grin appearing on my face. "Jules that's great! I'm so happy for you!" We all gave her hugs,me not believing that two of us had gotten asked out.

"This is amazing,now all that's left is Michael to ask out Rae and for Calum to admit he likes Hailey." I said,the two girls blushing. "I can assure you,Calum does not like me." Hailey defended.

"Uh,actually he pulled me out the other day cause he wanted to know if you liked him too." It wasn't a lie either,Calum really did pull me and and tell me that he liked Hailey and if she liked him back. "Really?" I nodded. "And I can tell Michael likes you Rae,because Luke told me one time,that whenever they watched our cover of Wherever you are,Mikey wouldn't shut up about you." I pointed out.

"We'll just have to see what the future holds."
