Yeah sorry I just got ready quicker than I expected. 

     I giggled. I did the stupid little laugh I do when I'm embarrassed. He knows this laugh. He has heard it a dozen times. 

What was that laugh for? 

     Shit. He noticed.

I'm just embarrassed I misjudged my speed by... a lot. 

Well at least you're back soon. I'm gonna finish setting some things up in StreamLabs then I'll be on.

     Josh was a great streamer. He always got great watch time and a good amount of viewers. I was always on his streams, wether I was just watching or actually playing. He has such a calming voice. No wonder people like to listen to him. 

What did you say?

Oh..I didn't say anything.

Oh ok. It just sounded like you whispered something.

Oh sorry. Are you on yet? 

Minecraft is loading up right now.

     My phone dinged showing a tiny purple twitch icon next to the line:

UnlimitedJosh went live!

     I opened twitch to click on his stream. A purple themed mountain range with the text "Starting Soon" laid across it greeted me. Chat was filled with many of the 162 people watching. I read the title. 

Bedwars with Cat!

     Josh had called me Cat for years. Whenever I changed my username to Cat in sixth grade he started calling me that. He was the only one that would call me that. I hated when people addressed me by my real name while playing. Josh knew that. 

I'll invite you to a party.

The yellow words popped up in Hypixel's chat telling me Josh had invited me to his party. Second later I was teleported to a lobby. The map was Zarzul.

Ugh I hate this map. 

Cat you only hate it because you die.

Exactly. why would I not hate it.

The only reason you die is because you fall off.

And I'm shit at pvp.

Your'e better than you think you are.

     Chat zoomed by the top of Josh's face. Emotes and conspiracies of us dating caught my eye. I realized Josh could see them too. He was looking at his second monitor. He rolled his eyes in disapproval at the chat's language.

Guys. Me and Cat are just friends. We have been friends for years.

     A pain shot through my stomach. I knew he didn't like me and that I shouldn't  like him. He was right. We were best friends. Had been for seven years. These feelings are something all girls get. we would never be anything. I didn't want us too. 

Dude red is already bridging over. 

     In my slightly panicked frenzy of thoughts I realized that I had missed the first 30 seconds of the game. My character sat still in the middle of my base. I could see Josh's brown haired, armor covered avatar in the distance. 

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I didn't even realize we were in a game. 

Its fine.

I heard a small chuckle escape his mouth. My second monitor held his stream. His brown, shaggy hair covered up part of his eyes. A smirk stretched across his soft cheeks. I could see his defined jawline move a bit. I knew he was holding back and enormous grin. The deep purple led lights echoed his personality in the background. He looked so good today. 

     I looked back at the game. Josh had killed both the red team players and was crouching in front of me. I crouched back. Josh threw me a stone sword and some blocks.

Let's go get red. 

Whatever you say general.

     His character moved in front of mine. We sprinted the one block wide bridge to red. As he fought the two simultaneously I broke the bed. It's how we always rushed teams. He fought, I broke. After two successful rushes against yellow and green and a failed rush attempt on pink we spawned back in our base. 

Pink is the only one left. They don't have obi but I know for a fact they have endstone. Do you have a pick?

Yeah I bought one before we rushed yellow. 

Okay. You go around the long way through white base and I will cut through mid.

     I went onto the red bridge connecting red to white. I noticed Josh was still standing still at the base. I continued on to break pinks bed and kill one of the players.

Josh I got it! We could win this. 

Im just at mid now I was responding to a DM sorry. 

   The thick, yellow words "VICTORY" flashed across my screen moments later.

Let's gooo!

You ready to go again Cat?

You bet.

      After two hours Josh decided his stream had lasted long enough. I looked at my monitor. The ending soon screen was showing. I hated when he ended. He was usually so tired that we would go to sleep afterward. This was the worst thing about him streaming.

    After Josh said goodbye to his 382 viewers and thanked some late donos he ended stream. 

That was a really good stream.

I know you had so many viewers. 

And chatters.

I know.

Im so tired though.

I know you are. 

Chat thinks we are dating. Or that we have a thing.

I know. It was the talk of the stream tonight.

Well they may not be completely wrong. 

    Josh left the call.
