Remy and Ackely bridge

part one

Remy pov
It after school, I'm just leaving school "Remember we here for you" miss keannes smiles "Thanks miss" I smile and carry on walking. "Rem, you going to the rec you coming?" Missy asks "I'll pass" I smile "I'm here for you" she smiles and runs to catch hayley and nas and the rest up.

I get to half down my road. I see a police car and my dad being dragged out then mom who's obviouslybeen using again. "Mom!" I scream and run i see miss carter car pull up and both her and miss Keanes run and grab me "No mom!" I scream "Get off me" I scream and get out of miss keanes arms "No no no" I bang on the police car door and run after it. I fall to the floor and miss carter comes running  over and helps me up "Miss Keanes gone to find out information. Shhhh" she rocks me everything kind of went into slow motion.

I'm back at school, sitting in miss carters office. I got my knees up to my chest. Miss Keanes sitting with me "we can't... she too vulnerable" miss carter says on the phone "Right well she will stay in my car, I have a foster licence... OK... sure... thank you" she puts the phone down. She walks over and bends down "So you will be assigned a social worker her names Rosie, I've walked with her before, you are in my care u til further notice, I couldn't see you going in a hostel" Miss carter smiles "She promised, she promised" I cry "I know sweetie, I know" miss carter rubs my arm "Lets go back to mine, get you settled, I'll even order takeout" She softly says.

We enter this big house "so through here is the living and kitchen area, please help yourself to whatever." she smiles "shall I show you, your room" she smiles. I just nod "so my rooms here if you ever need me just knock, and this is your room, we can jazz it up the weekend" She smiles. I wonder to the bed put my bag down and curl up into a ball and cry. "Hey come here" miss carter sits next to me and hugs me "I have no parents, im here with the hea dog my school, no offence I'm grateful I am... I just want home" she cries "I know" she hugs me.

Mandy pov
Steve just got back "Mand... I got the job
.. I actually got it" He comes in and kisses me. I cough and guide my eyes towards remy "Remy Jones?" He mouths. I nod and we walk into the hall "Her mom is using again, got in a massive fight with her dad they robbed 3 house while she was at school and well now she in my care, I opened our licence back up but only to remy I couldn't put her in a hostel steve" I wipe my tears and he hugs me "No, no you did the right thing, she welcome as long as she needs" he smiles and we walk back in "Remy do you like Chinese" I walk over to her "can I just have a curry tray please" she softly asks "Yeah chips, rice and curry sauce one" I ask "Yeah.. erm when we have it at home id normal have noddles as a little side... is that ok too?" She sniffles "Yes of course, Steve likes extra noodles so ill get a big portions" I smile and give Steve the order.

We watching TV "Miss carter?" She questions "please while we here call us mandy and steve" I smile "Oh ok, can you phone this Rosie ask her if im aloud back to get some things please?" She quietly asks "yes, she meeting us for a meeting tomorrow can you wait til then? Not sure she in the office" I smile "That fine" she smiles back and snuggled the blanket "Food" steve walks in.

Remy pov
I had 2 panic attacks last night Mrs carter was there to help me. I've French braided my hair and put a little make up on. I walk downstairs and they both downstairs. "Morning. How you feeling" Mrs carter asks "Tired, sorry if I kept you up" I softly says "No its OK. You hungry?" She smiles "Can I just have an orange please" I smile "Sure" she smiles and hands me an orange.

We finished the meeting, looks like Mrs carter my official carer. My parents are looking at 10 years each in prison. Myself and Rosie collected my things and she just dropped me back at school "Sorry mandy in meeting, but she told me to put them in the car" Mr Bell smiles. 

Mr Bell took me to lesson, I have English with miss keanes "where you been" missy asks "Explain later" I say and get on with my work. I don't really pay attention. We pack up and miss keanes asks me to stay "Hey, just checking in" she smiles "well parents could get 10 years, I don't want them out ever, I have no family, im greatful for miss carter and Mr Bell but they aren't family. My family left us when mom got back with my dad. Im all alone" I wipe my tears "I know its going to be hard but they are now your family, you will adapt and you get to see me more, I know im your favourite" she winks and I laugh a little "Right missys waiting go" she looks at the door.

I've told missy, naz, hayley and raz everything. Its the end of the day and the girls have walked me to Mrs carter's  office, who just walked out "Girls you ok?" She smiles "Dont worry they know" I smile "we just wanted to make sure our girls ok" Missy smiles "aw that's nice of you girls" she smiles.

We back well i suppose home. I've finished my home work "so Miss, I mean mandy... how far are you?" I ask " 2 months" she smiles "Will I have to leave?" I ask "Leave where?" She looks up from her laptop "here. Like when the baby comes" I ask "No, god no. You staying darling, the baby will know you as his foster sister of you want" she smiles "so am I here for the near future?" I ask "Yes, if thats what you want? Remember you do have family members Rosie can get in contact with at any time" she shuts her laptop down and then steve walks in "Jordan Wilson just broke down after I told him I was leaving" he sits next to mandy "Aw, your like a father figure" she smiles "you girls had dinner?" He asks "Yeah, yours is in the oven" she tells him as he gets up "I got some paperwork to do so I'll sit at the island" he tells us "I'm going upstairs" I smile "You ok?" Mandy asks "Yeah, can you come when you finished please" I shakily ask "of course"  she looks worried at me.

About 15 minutes later there's a knock at my door "Come in" I say "sorry, went to get in so comfortable clothes" she smiles "Thats ok. I was packing everything away" I sit up off my bed "can you come sit with me" I anxiously ask. She looks at me worried and sits with me "When me and Rosie went to go get my things, we were speaking about my other family and the possibilities of moving with them... I said that wasn't even an option, so now I have no family and its not first time I've been in care I vaguely remember its when I was 7/8 I got moved to 9 homes within a year because they were temporarily so... I ask her what your licence was and she said temp, I don't want to get unsettled move home to home, I possibly won't get adopted because of my ask... this is obviously yours and Steve's choices but I want you to permanent like im not taking adoption just be permanent fosters until I get a job or whatever and I have  my own place." I loose my breath "Hey, calm, im more than happy to change my licence and im sure Steve will too ill talk to him." she hugs me "Thank you" I smile "right im going to have shower and bed" I tell mandy. She say night and leaves
