Early that morning Canada knocked on their door, rushing to put on his suit jacket. Kuma pushed open the door sending a blinding light in from the hallway. They glanced at their phones, seeing that it was almost an hour before their alarms went off. Alyona groaned and set her phone back down, sneezing as she did so.

"Sorry to wake you two up but there was an emergency meeting scheduled for today," Canada explained, cleaning his glasses with small red cloth. "It's not safe to leave you two here alone considering what happened... last time." He pocketed the cloth.

Aoi sat up in her bed and groggily looked at her sister, then towards the hall, squinting her eyes. Kuma walked over and partially climbed on her bed, shaking her leg. "Wakey wakey." Aoi smiled at him and swung her legs over the bed. Kuma walked over to Alyona and did the same, only she just groaned in response and wrapped her blanket over her head.

Canada stopped, peering over at her as she sneezed again and pulled the covers around herself tighter. "Un sacré moment pour tomber malade," he quietly mumbled.

Kuma pulled himself onto her bed and began shaking her arm. "Alyona, wake up." She sat up, coughing, and set Kuma back onto the ground.

Canada walked in and gently placed his hand on her forehead. "You're burning up. I don't think it'd be good for you to be up and around today." Alyona ignored him and laid back down. He hummed, thinking about what to do. "Wait right here, I'll figure something out."

About 20 minutes later there was a knock on the door. Aoi walked over to the window while brushing her hair and stared out of it. Her brushing suddenly paused. "It is Mathieu," she quietly told her sister.

"Good for him."

Canada walked back up the stairs with Mathieu trailing behind him. "So I called someone over to watch you, so you're not left here alone." Mathieu grunted beside him. "You're free to stay here too, Aoi."

She shook her head. "I am ready, might as well go with. Plus I do not think Alyona will notice." Aoi looked at her sister who was already fast asleep.

"Alright, we should get going then we're gonna be late, and thank you again for doing this James." Canada smiled and hastily went down the stairs with one of his daughter's following him.

Mathieu looked over at his other selves daughter who was snoring lightly in her bed. He sighed and shut the door, and turned off the lights as he went downstairs. A fresh pot of coffee was brewed, although there wasn't much left for him.

"Oto... You let them know you had to take me with you, right?" Aoi quietly asked in the car, she was staring out the foggy window. It looked like it was going to snow today.

"I didn't have enough time, but they shouldn't mind considering the circumstances you two have been through," Canada replied, taking a sharp turn and stopping in America's massive driveway. He waited for his brother to come out while texting someone on his phone.

America hopped in the car, closing the door behind him. "Huh, you came here faster than usual," he remarked as Canada backed out of the driveway. His brother ignored him as the three rushed to the meeting ."Ah, you brought Aoi too?"

"Hello Oji." Aoi gave him a small wave.

"I'm taking her with us because of what happened the last time I left them alone."

"What about Alyona?" he asked.

"She's sick, I called James over to take care of her."

America shuddered. "That guy's creepy."

Canada rolled his eyes. "No he isn't you big baby."

"Yes he is! He even looks so much like you, just taller, and grumpy, and those scars on his chest. You even have the same name, Matthew, Mathieu, what's the difference?" The conversation ended as Canada abruptly stopped in a parking spot.

Aoi looked up at the tall building in front of them. The three of them got out and headed for the building, following everyone else through the doors.

"Ah, Canada, mon fils, you made it in time." One of the men Aoi recognized from the photos around the house.

"Bonjour Papa," Canada said as he hugged him. "Aoi this is France, he's your grandpa."

"Don't make me sound so old," France mumbled. He smiled at Aoi. "Canada has told me so much about you, cherie. Don't you have a sister though?"

"She's sick, James is watching her right now."

The four of them walked into the meeting room. Various people stared at Aoi as they walked to their seats. "Canada is that a child? You know these meetings are top secret." Someone with thick eyebrows said.

"Deal with it, England." The person seemed shocked at his response.

"I will not," England sputtered out in response, "she has to leave immediately."

"Oh relax Iggy," America said.

A yelling match between the two of them began. Everyone seemed shocked by how Canada was acting, even France.

Aoi tapped on her dad's arm, making him pause. "Papa, it is okay, I will wait outside the door, you'll know if anything's wrong."

"But..." Aoi gave him a look, he sighed. "Fine, but right outside the door."

She nodded and walked over to the door, gently pushing it open. Canada sat back down, and glared at England who seemed satisfied with himself. Aoi closed the door and sat in the chair next to it. "Now, onto the business I brought you all here for..."

15 minutes into the meeting the hallway lights suddenly shut off. Aoi stood up, looking around. Light spilled out from under the doorway, meaning it wasn't a power outage. She considered going back in the room where it was safe but decided against it; it wasn't worth dealing with England again.

Something metal scratched the floor behind her, making her spin around to face it. Aoi faintly saw the outline of someone leaning against the wall, staring directly at her. "Tanjōbiomedetō, Ningyō," Kuro said just as the lights turned back on, illuminating his bright red eyes, and the Katana he held in his hand. Aoi's eyes widened in shock, stumbling backwards. She bumped into someone's chest and let out a small shriek before it was silenced by a hand clamping over her mouth.
