The two of them spent the day at the mall. Alyona had gone upstairs before they left to change, and tell Aoi.
"Hungry?" Romeo asks, looking over at Alyona. They had been at the mall for a while now, not really doing anything, just walking around and looking at some stores.
"I could eat," she shrugs, "where at though?"
"Whatever you want, I'm paying." Romeo smiles. They slowly wandered over to the food court. Alyona looked around at the different restaurants, attempting to make a decision.
"There's a lot, I don't know."
"Alright, I'll take you to one of my favorite places! It has really good milkshakes." Romeo takes Alyona's hand and pulls her to Dairy Queen.
The lady at the counter smiled at the two. "Hello again Romeo! What will it be todayl?"
"Um, I want a burger and a large vanilla shake, and..." Romeo looks over at Alyona, "you want a milkshake too?"
"I never had one," Alyona shrugged.
"We can share," Romeo smiles then turns back to the lady. "That will be all."
"That'll be five dollars."
Romeo hands her some dollars. The lady gives back the remaining change and goes in the back, making the milkshake as the other workers make his burger. He pulls Alyona to the side waiting for the food.
"Oh no." He tensed up, stepping behind Alyona. She raised her eyebrow, looking at whatever Romeo was. Standing there was Romano, his arms crossed. "If he asks, I'm not here."
Alyona giggled. "I think he already knows you're here."
Romano walked over to the two of them. "Romeo Vargas, è meglio avere una spiegazione sul perché non lo sei-" he stopped, noticing Alyona. Suddenly he grinned pulling Romeo aside. They talked, whispering in italian for a minute or two, until the food was done.
Romeo came back, grabbing the food and walking over to a table. His face was a bright red.
"What was that about?" Alyona asked.
"Nothing important," he said, avoiding her gaze. Romeo held out the milkshake to her. "Here try some."
She took the drink, surprised at how cold it was. Slowly, she took a sip of it. "It's... sweet." She took a few more sips. "And cold." Romeo took a sip and nodded. "I like it though."
They sat there, drinking the milkshake and talking. Eventually an hour had passed and the food was gone. Alyona looked around at the people in the food court, bored. She furrowed her eyebrows, noticing someone.
"Yebena mat'," she mumbled standing up. Romeo stood up too, following her to where she was going. "What are you doing here?" She asked, looking up at Canada.
Canada looked shocked to see her here. "What am I doing here, what about you?"
"You're the one who's supposed to be in school right now," she looked at her phone, "it's not even lunch yet."
"Well, Romeo should be at school too, does Romano or Italy know he's here?"
"Yea," Romano shrugged.
Canada blushed. "What are you doing here with him anyway?"
Alyona smiled. "We're hanging out." Canada gave her a small smile back.
"Well... did you tell Aoi at least?" Alyona nodded. "Damn," he mumbled under his breath. Canada sighed, "Alright well, you shouldn't stay out too long, you have to stay safe."
"I know papa," she grabbed Romeo's hand already walking away, "I'll see you in hour, okay." Before she could get a response from him they were already gone. The two of them spent the rest of the hour wandering around the mall again.
Alyona met Canada by the front doors. "So, how was your date?" He asked as soon as she got there.
Alyona blushed. "It wasn't date, we were just...hanging out."
"Sure." Canada raised an eyebrow. "I'm glad you're getting out of the house though."
"Seems like we both are, there's still few hours until school's over."
Canada stumbled over his words for a second. "Just, don't follow after me on that."
Alyona laughed. "I don't plan to."
They walked to Canada's car in silence. Alyona looked around the parking lot, freezing suddenly. Canada furrowed his eyebrows, looking in the direction she was looking. Alyona frowned, mumbling something too quiet for him to hear.
A man was standing there, staring back at them. Canada sighed, realizing who it was as he walked over.
"Russia, it's uh... good to see you."
"Canada, you have child now, again?"
"Yeah... this is Alyona, she has a-"
Alyona suddenly cut him off. "Kozyol." Russia's eyes widened, surprised.
"Chto?"
"You heard me, Strana." She spat out. Alyona turned and continued on to the car. Canada followed her confused.
"You know him?" He asked, getting in the driver's side. Alyona got in the back.
"My mother called him Strana, I met him couple of times when I was younger, before moving here." She buckled up and Canada started driving.
"Why don't you like him?"
"He is reason we moved, knowing him was too dangerous, that and my father." Canada glanced back at her in the rear view mirror. "Both are bad people."
"Russia isn't that bad..." Alyona rolled her eyes. "I don't really know him, but he's, mostly, innocent."
"Bez raznitsy."
