"Let's get you guys in, it looks like it's going to snow bad today." The ranger opens the door for the two girls as they entered into the warm building. The orphanage was old, with a faint musty smell of campfire and children. The building wasn't so grand and great, nor was it horrible and suffocating. A lady with brown hair and gray streaks running through greeted them as they walked inside.
"Hello! What can I help you today eh?" The woman asked smiling brightly at Aoi, Alyona, and the ranger.
"I found these two children up on the mountain, they don't have parents or any guardian whatsoever, so I was wondering if you are able to take these two," the ranger replied. He softly motioned the two girls to the the kind woman. She makes eye contact to the two.
"Oh? And what are your names?" Her voice was quite sweet and welcoming. It was motherly.
"I'm Alyona Rudov, and girl next to me is Aoi," Alyona spoke. A smile snuck onto the woman's face. Aoi waved at her bashfully.
"Nice to meet you two, you can call me Sarah," Sarah smiles wider. The ranger left as they met. "You'll be in good hands here."
Sarah stretches and looks at the two children again. "Let's get you two settled in, while you two get a tour here, follow along." The two obeyed as they were being led through the small orphanage.
The hallways all around the orphanage connected together nicely, so it wasn't hard to get around. "And now the dorms!" Sarah had Alyona and Aoi follow her upstairs to the dorm rooms. "Alright, I guess we'll make a loop around here," Sarah sighs and led them to the hall on the right.
A girl stops them in the hallway. She looked around lost, but lively for sure. "Excuse me Miss Sarah, is Romeo here?" She asked with a bit of a French accent in her voice.
"He's out for the day Elizabeth, you shouldn't be here without permission," Sarah replies. She seemed a little off once she saw Elizabeth.
Elizabeth was tall for her age, and had beautiful blonde hair. Her eyes were big and a beautiful purple color like an amethyst. "Sorry Miss. Sarah... I was looking for you but you were gone, and I really wanted to see my childhood friend." Elizabeth said shyly, gripping her pretty pink summer dress with a fake innocence.
"Uhuh... Anyway I would like you to meet these two, Aoi and Alyona." Sarah motioned the two souls to meet the girl. Aoi of course didn't seem interested in meeting Elizabeth, so she hid behind Alyona.
"What's with her?" Elizabeth points at Aoi.
"Excuse me, she has trouble talking to people, even to snob like you." Alyona says, mumbling the last part only loud enough for Aoi and Sarah to hear. Aoi giggles quietly behind Alyona.
"U-Uh we should be more nicer yeah?" Sarah nervously chuckles.
"Whatever, see you later losers," Elizabeth sticks her tongue out at them, storming off in the opposite direction.
"Ijiwaru," Aoi huffs, annoyed.
"Don't bother with Elizabeth, she always thinks she's all that and a bag of potato chips. Just because her father is the all mighty Francois, he's uh... really rich... yea. It gets annoying." Sarah sadly smiles. "Now let's continue with the tour and place you two into your rooms."
Aoi and Alyona followed close behind. "Oh and here's your roommate Alyona. Meet Wendy, you'll bunk with her," Sarah introduces the two.
"A roommate? Yay, nice to meet you... what's your name?"
"Alyona..." Alyona smiles shyly.
"Aoi, we should let her get to know her roommate. There's someone I want you to meet, he's Japanese too," Sarah softly pulls Aoi away from Alyona and leads her down further down the hall. Sarah peered into a dorm room.
