“I can’t wait until you get your license back,” Canada mumbled, driving to the nearest McDonalds. “Can’t we at least get something, normal, to eat?”

“Nah dude, McDonalds is the best.” He punched his brother’s shoulder, jokingly. “Anyway, while I’m here, I need to stay at your house.”

Canada sighed. “And why is that?” He asked.

“Well my house is going under a bunch of renovations, and I don’t have anywhere else to stay.”

“Let me guess, everyone said no?” America just laughed in response. “Yeah I guess.” He pulled into the drive through, ordering some food.

“Awesome!” America handed him some money, paying for the food. After they got everything Canada drove back home. He parked in the driveway and they all went inside.

“So why are you getting renovations?” Aoi asked, walking beside her Uncle.

“Everythings getting small, and outdated. Wilma’s pool is getting too small as she grows too.”

“Wilma?” Aoi furrowed her eyebrows.

“My whale.” He set the food on the table.

“America, you don’t need a bigger house, only two people visit you.” Alyona giggled.

“Well, I’m gonna need extra rooms if Aoi and Alyona ever visit me.” America began opening the burgers, most of which were for him. “Anyway how many do you all want?”

“Just one. How many other animals do you have?” Alyona asked, sitting down at the table.

“A rabbit, and apparently a unicorn, according to Iggy.” She raised an eyebrow. “Yea, it’s strange. Anyway, then there’s Tony, my alien friend, he’s the one doing the renovations too.”

“Alien?”

“Yeah, he’s a pretty cool dude.” He handed out the burgers to everyone. “Anyway, dinner time.”

Canada sat down at the table. “Gross.”

America rolled his eyes. “Bro, you put maple syrup in your coffee, and you’re calling this gross?”

“Yes.”

America laughed, eating a burger.

“Think he really does that?” Aoi asked her sister.

She nodded. “I saw him once, he loves the stuff.” Alyona took a bite of the burger. “Kinda gross.”

“The burger or…?”

“Both.”

“I wouldn’t tell him you said that,” America said quietly.

“What’s he gonna do?”

“Nothing as far as I know, Cuba did it once, and he doesn’t talk about it.”

“Couldn’t that just mean nothing happened?”

“...Yeah I guess it could.”

“Also isn’t Papa too nice for that?” Alyona raised an eyebrow.

“He’s scary when he wants to be. Trust me.” America shuddered.

Everyone jumped as Canada appeared behind them suddenly. “What’cha guys talking about?” They all yelled out varyingly different responses.

“Sumimasen…” Aoi suddenly got up and left the table. They watched her go.

“Anyway what were you actually talking about?”
