The cave was silent, except for the occasional drip of water against the hard floor, accompanied by the light drumming of magic in the air. Six souls sat gleaming in the dark cave, illuminating the dark walls, which were etched with stories and legends.

The souls were ordered in the color of the rainbow, from orange, with an empty spot before for red, to yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, and purple. These were the six children that had fallen into the underground. Each of them having met a terrible demise at the fate of others.

The lighting in the cave seemed to shift, growing brighter, but at the pace more like a heartbeat, light, dull, light, dull, repeating, as it seemed to grow faster too. The source being two of the souls, yellow and light blue. As they grew brighter, the light engulfed the cave, flooding everything with a mix of yellows, blues, and greens. When the light finally died down, the two souls were gone, with nothing left but water droplets in their place.

Two girls woke up in the middle of a field, surrounded by sunflowers and blue hydrangeas. They were both rather young, about the age of 13, maybe 14.

One of them had shockingly long white hair, pale skin, and ruby colored eyes, she was wearing a yellow and red plaid dress that went down to her knees, and a holster belt that went around her waist, two guns on either side of her.

The other girl had bright blue hair in a long ponytail, and darker skin when compared. Her eyes were a deep and cold saphire, and she had a blue sweater with sleeves a little too long.

They both woke up with a gasp, wincing at the bright sky. Looking around they saw each other, and nervously stood up.

"Who are you?" Asked the white haired girl, with a thick Russian accent. The other girl looked at her confused.

"M-my name Aoi." She said stuttering a bit, messing with something on the inside of her sleeve.

"Huh?" The first one asked raising an eyebrow at her.

"Aoi, that's my name."

"Alyona." She stuck out her hand to shake, and suddenly there was a small dagger pointed at her, being held by Aoi. She pulled out one of the guns on her belt, pointing it at Aoi in return. They both glared at each other for a couple of seconds, before lowering each of their weapons, and putting them away.

"So, how you get here?" Alyona asked, looking around at the vast field.

"I do not know." Aoi said, looking around with her.

Alyona squinted her eyes, looking in the distance at a forest. "I think I know where we are," she said pointing towards the trees. "My house in that direction." Before Aoi could say anything she set off for the trees.

They stopped, in the shadow of an old run down cottage, clearly falling apart.

"No," Alyona mumbled, falling to her knees. She leaned forward digging her fingers into the dirt below them. "I wasn't gone for that long, blyad!"

Aoi furrowed her eyebrows. "This is your house?"

Alyona nodded after a second. "It used to be, it was normal before I left, now it's..." she gasped before running inside the building and searching around. It was completely bare, with the exception of plants and vines growing inside. "Empty." Alyona walked out, sitting on a nearby rock, with her head in her lap.
