I'm so scared to post this but I'm going to get over my fear and put this out. So have fun haha.

Gotta kiss myself, I'm so pretty
I'm too hot
Called a police and a fireman
I'm too hot

Uptown funk blasted in the massive studio. My photographer, Cameron Bridge, kept snapping pictures. I was sat on a white block while giving him my most 'fierce girl' poses. I was decked out in workout gear because it was a shoot for Adidas, one of my personal favourite sports wear brand.

"Get on top of the block!" Cameron said, his unmistakeable American accent seeping through. I climbed on top of it and struck a pose. Just as I did my favourite part of the song played. I didn't even think before starting to sing and dance to it. Cameron just laughed and continued clicking pictures. He just might find a gem in there, he always says.

'Cause Uptown Funk gon' give it to you
'Cause Uptown Funk gon' give it to you

I moved my head to an imaginary microphone.

Hey, hey, hey oh!

Stop!

I put my palm out. I did a quick twirl.

Wait a minute

I bent down, lip syncing to the song because I sound like a dying walrus when I sing. Not like that stops me from screaming lyrics when I'm alone. Or if my favourite song plays.

"Get back to work, young lady," Cameron chuckled. I just grinned sheepishly and went back to posing for the picture.

After the photo shoot, Cameron was reviewing the pictures. I jumped down from the block and went over to Cameron. He turned the camera to show me some of the shots.

"I like this one," I said, stopping him at a picture of me sitting on the block with my hands in between my leg as I laughed merrily. Cameron cracks too many jokes when we're shooting.

"I like this better," He said, changing it to another picture. He had taken a picture of me when I was dancing. Considering it was a Nike photoshops and we're not supposed to be goofing around, I'm glad we had this picture. My leg was kicked forward while I leaned back a little. My face didn't hold a smile because I was lip syncing, really getting into character with it.

"This is cute," I commented. Cameron just hummed and nodded.

"Well I think we have what we need, Alex," he said.

"Heck Yeah! Jas called me earlier, asking if we can hang out. I'm going to go do that," I said, skipping off to the changing room. I switched to my original clothes and put my hair up in a ponytail. My flowery yellow shirt was tucked into white jeans and my converses covered my feet.

I wiped off all the makeup, feeling a little bit bad for doing so, considering the poor make up artists took almost an hour doing it. I like to keep my skin healthy so I always let it breathe after a shoot. I always have shoots and I rarely get time to be barefaced. I did put some make up though. Some days I wake up at 5 or 6 in the morning and I look like I walked through hell.

I put on my mascara to elongate my lashes. Concealers was applied to cover the evidence of my sleepless night. A little lip balm to rehydrate my chapped lips.

I took my long brunette hair out of its ponytail and ran my hand through the matted mess. I brushed out my hair and let it down. My wavy locks reached the bottom of my back so it took me a while to brush it out.

I slipped my bag on my shoulder before leaving the room, shutting it behind me. I waved to Cameron who was dealing with the editors. He waved back and blew me a kiss.
