A

When I picked May 5th I really didn't expect it to be so calm. Jasmin and I sat down and planned the wedding dress within the same week I got engaged because she was adamant on making me my perfect wedding dress and who am I to deny her that? And I think it just holds so much more sentimental value if she made it.

The rest wasn't hard to do. We decided on getting married in Grasmere and my dad was a lot of help. Father Lennie would be officiating our wedding and the wedding reception would be in the hall next to the church.

Our guests list wasn't so long because it only consisted of our friends. My family would be there as well. The people in my town would also be coming for the wedding because I grew up with them and they apparently can't wait for me to get married.

It was the night before my wedding and Benny and my dad made sure Niall and I were not in the same room. Obviously Niall didn't like the set up but he went with it because he doesn't want his bride's father to hate him, his words not mine.

It was around 1 in the morning when I heard little shuffling outside the door leading to the balcony. Out of curiosity, I creeped over to the sliding doors, pulling it open. I came face to face with Niall.

"Niall? Shit, what're you doing here?" I asked, pulling him into the room and shutting the door.

"Couldn't sleep," he frowned. "Had a bad dream."

"Aww hun. You want to talk about it?" I asked, getting into bed. Niall crawled in and laid next to me. I pulled him closer and let him lay his head on my chest.

"Hmm well just some worries. I don't want to be like my parents," he said.

"What? Ignorant of their children?" I asked and he shook his head.

"They married out of love but... after a certain year it was all arguing," he sighed. "They'd just be screaming at each other. Or at me. There was no love."

"And that's where we're different. Your parents were together for five months before getting married. That... honeymoon phase hadn't even faded. They got married too early and they just got bored of each other. Us, on the other hand, have been together for five long years. That's a quarter of my life, baby. I know our love is too strong to ever succumb to that," I said, playing with his hair. "Baby? Niall?" I called but I realised he fell asleep.

"I love you, Niall. So much."

With an adoring smile on my face, I finally let myself sleep.

The next morning I woke up to my dad shaking me awake.

"And when did he get in here?" My dad asked, not mad but just curious.

"He had a bad dream," I answered and my dad just nodded.

"I knew he'd get in here somehow," he chuckled. "Well wake him up and tell him to go back to him room. We've to be in the church in two hours."

"Yeah baba," I said and my dad left.

"Niall? Honey? Baby?" I said, shaking him awake. He sat up, rubbing his eyes.

"Morning," he smiled tiredly.

"Morning baby. You need to go back to your room. You've got to go to the church," I said and he nodded.

"Can't wait to make you mine, my soon to be wife," He said, making me smile so wide.
