Tzuyu

"So that's it huh? Are you really going to put me in here? The hospital?" I crossed my arms and looked out the window.

I just looked at the sky as I always do whenever I feel like I will explode with resentment. I took a deep breath and calmed myself, that's it Tzuyu, don't cry Tzuyu, don't cry.

"Tzuyu, it would be better if you stay here. The doctors will watch over you. You know your condition right?" My mom said so I just sighed.

Yes, my condition is strange because I suddenly fall asleep no matter where or what I'm doing. Yes, I sleep much longer than other people. I get it, I'm not a normal 16 year-old girl but I'm 200% sure that I'm not sick. I'm not dying. I just can't control myself.

Have you ever felt like you're slipping away from life? Well that's how I feel every damn day.

"Mom what I need to feel better is a normal life. I want to go to school and have friends. Is it too much to ask?" I didn't face her while speaking. I feel like, any time I will give up and my tears will start falling.

"I love you Tzuyu. We'll visit you every week. Take care of yourself." I could hear the trembling of her voice as if she was really crying.

I just closed my eyes when I felt her hug me tightly. After she kissed my cheek she quickly left and didn't even look back. I guess that's the best way to say goodbye, that's even better because I never saw her cry.

She loves me, my whole family loves me ... I know they are just distancing themselves because they knew that at any time I can disappear ... And they know I can empathize with others. Im a walking disaster.

I sighed again and just lay down on the bed and put the earphones in my ears.

__________💜

Take me to your paradise
The heaven's door closes
Star-falling night
Kiss me in the blue moonlight

I closed my eyes as I listened to the song. I feel like any time I can sleep in this bed, it's a good thing the mattress mom bought for me is so soft.

Wait, what is this feeling? Why do I feel like something or someone is breathing near my face?

Damn it! I don't think I locked the door.

I opened my eyes to see if anyone was there and I was startled when I saw a man's face. Our faces are so close to each other that I can almost feel his breath on my face. I couldn't help but to scream when his eyes suddenly glazed over. OMG is he a Rapist!?

"Who are you ?! What are you doing here ?!" I quickly pushed him away and picked up the broom on the floor. I was about to hit him but he suddenly ran away.

"Wierdo!" I shouted and quickly locked the door.

Based on the clothes he is wearing, I can say he is also a patient here. On the bright side, his black beanie makes him look kinda cute - kinda. I think?

It's bad enough that I'll be staying in this hospital and now I will have to put up with the weirdos here. But when that man try to enter my room again, I will really kick his c***.

I just sighed and looked at my blank room. The faded yellow walls are lifeless, there is no design and all that is left are curtains and bed. Wow! My life has officially sucked more than it ever sucked.

Wait have I mention that my life sucks?

Nah, my life will forever suck.

I suddenly heard a knock on the door so I quickly turn and picked up the broom in the floor. Does that guy really want me to beat his ass?

"Tzuyu? Open the door." I heard an old man's voice outside. Wait, how did he know my name?

I slowly opened the door. I didn't open it all the way, just enough for me to see who's the person outside.

"Tzuyu, there's rules in the hospital and one of them is that you can't lock the door" The old nurse said while smiling. I can feel at ease now.

"I'm really sorry!" I just laughed and opened the door for him to enter. "I'm really sorry. There's a crazy guy who entered my room. I was afraid that he will comeback so I locked the door." I tried to explain but I was confused when he suddenly laugh while scratching the back of his head.

"Can I ask if that guy is tall and white?" He asked and I was even more confused than before because his description is correct.

"That idiot looks like that. He was wearing this black beanie." I explained but he just laughed even more.

"Well that idiot name is Jungkook, he's harmless even though he looks harmful. Don't worry Tzuyu, even if he looks crazy and insane, that boy won't harm you. You guys are actually in the same age." He laughed. He talks like he knew that crazy fellow, are they close? Maybe that patient has been here for a long time.

"Hey Old man I heard that!" Suddenly, we heard a shout from the other room.

"But it's true!" The old nurse shouted back.

Wait ... That idiot is not just my fellow patient here - he's also my neighbor ?!

Ughhh. Kill me now.

"By the way, I'm Shin Jung Geun. Just call me Old Geun, please don't call me Old man or grandpa. I am the head nurse in this ward. If you need anything, just tell me. I will bring your medicine here everyday. How are you now? Is the room okay?" He asked.

Even though he is old, he still talks really fast. Unfortunately, he still works even though he is old.

"I'm not okay. I really don't like it here but I can't do anything. Thank you for visiting me" I smiled and just forced myself to laugh. This is all I can do to make my self less miserable.

"You're not okay but you can still smile like that? You really have a strong personality, Tzuyu. If you didn't say you don't like it here, I would probably think the opposite. Don't worry everyone here, feels the same way. Are you sure you don't need anything else? " He asked again so I looked around the room.

Yes, I am not comfortable in here but maybe I can do something for me to like it a little bit.

"Do you have any paints? This place look so lifeless." I ask.

"Well, yes, I'm going to look for it in the warehouse. Changed your clothes first so that you won't be mistaken as a guest here." He ordered and left immediately.

I looked at my clothes.

I will really miss wearing this normal clothes because from now on, I will always wear patient clothes.Life sucks.
