I cursed under my breath as the light of a wand fell on my face and I turned reluctantly toward it. It was nearly one in the morning and I wasn't supposed to be out of bed or wandering the halls of the castle, strictly speaking. Curfew was pushed to midnight for sixth years and above but there was no way I would convince the person approaching me that I was just confused about the time.

I looked down at my pajamas and winced, they were fuzzy and pink and covered in rainbows and unicorns and lollipops. Even if I didn't care what people said about me, this was going to be something that would be nearly impossible to live down. I held my hand up to block the light from my eyes as the person finally came within talking range. I was going to get detention for certain.

"Aislinn?" I heard Hoseok's shocked question and I was awash in relief. For a whole second. "What are you wearing?" He giggled. "Nox," He said after a moment, stowing his wand back into the inside pocket of his robes.

I rubbed my eyes to get rid of the blinding white spot that obscured my vision but mostly to think of a reasonable excuse to save myself further embarrassment. I squeezed Mang's ears as I thought and then blushed even further when I remember that I was carrying around my plushy like a five year old.

"Pajamas," I answered after several minutes of fighting a losing battle with a blush and he just kept snickering. "I don't sleep in my robes, you know. What are you doing out here?" I countered, trying to divert attention.

"Prefect duties. Wednesday nights I patrol the halls, remember?" He asked with a slightly superior tone. I could tell he was still laughing at me and I pouted, sticking my lips out and crossing my arms over my chest as my stuffed horse hung by the single hand of his I held. "Aegyo," Hoseok chimed as he pinched my cheek softly once more, "I won't tell anyone in the world how cute you are. This is my little secret to keep."

I giggled nervously as I brushed his hand away and danced a few steps backwards. "I suppose I should thank you but I doubt anyone would believe the monster of Hogwarts walks around in pink unicorn pjs."

"What are you doing walking around at this hour anyway?" He wondered.

I moved so I could lean against the nearest wall as I fought a yawn and shook my head. Hoseok moved next to me, mirroring my position. "I can't sleep." I shrugged and wrapped my arms around my plushy as I held one of his hands in each of mine. "I got a lot of detentions last year because I couldn't manage to stay in the dorms all night, every night."

"I won't give you detention. Namjoon probably won't either if he finds you." He said with assurance, confident in his friend's ability not to be an ass.

"You two are some of the best." I agreed, remembering the few times I escaped detention last year because it was Namjoon who found me. Unless he wasn't alone, then he had no choice but to follow the schools rules.
