Dark crimson blood ran down porcelain skin, bringing out rage-filled silver eyes. Sharp clashing of metal sends sparks flying through the dull night sky.
"If you wanted to kill me flower, you could have just told me." The dark blue eyes held evil as the man staring Sonali down had a sick grin. He was no man though, but the corrupted general of a very prominent empire that was secretly leading a mass genocide. The mission was to get close and silently kill, but this man always wanted a show.
Sonali glares with a low growl and says "Never call me flower, ever." Just then a black bolt of lightning strikes and the half-demon bounty hunter was covered head to toe with black armor, her flimsy sword now almost doubled in size, also black metal, and very sturdy.
She strikes the sword from his hand and cleanly cuts off his head. Sonali was used to the blood and the dead bodies. She pulls out her marking book and marks another slash on her count. "Two thousand three hundred and fifty two now" she mutters before tucking it away and fading into the demon realm. Her partner Napatan would make quick work of removing her from the people's memories.
Sonali cleans up in her room at the castle and changes into the normal royal garments she was required to wear as the princess. Her father was in the throne room, chatting with one of their people. He sighs when she comes in and waves away the young demon. "Sonali, my daughter, you always disappear and I can never track you, as you have many times proven, but I wish you would tell me why you always go to the human realm. I get that your mother is from there but it is quite unpleasant."
Sonali sits on her throne, one of the four there. "It is none of your business, besides, why should you so detest it when we are working with the gods to bring balance to the human world, and even cleaning up their messes constantly?" She and her father rarely saw eye to eye. Sonali didn't hate him, but they did have a difference of opinions.
"I know my daughter. I do hope you are learning plenty from your frequent and long visits to the mortal realm." The King of Demons, Kapatin, was worried for his daughter. Ever since that one human had broken her heart at such a young age, she was so cold and distant from her family, but still quite close to her mother and her childhood friend Napatan.
She looks to her father and contemplates in silence before saying "I have learned that the men and even some women of the world are greedy and evil and hate. And not even Hades could give them a proper punishment after death. But the children are the ones I adore, so innocent and lively. And some become good. But the good do not prosper, and the greedy seem to have the gods' blessings, not the giving." Sonali then faces forward, her cold and sharp silver eyes piercing. In her room sat another black soul in her chest of evils.
