Marinette's POV:

I woke up in a pitch black room. I couldn't move my arms or legs and felt cold metal restraints on my wrists. I tried to keep a steady breath but I was in panic mode. I mentally prepared myself for assault.

Hell raising, hair raising
I'm ready for the worst
So frightening, face whitening
Fear that you can't reverse

I realized that I was holding my phone and turned it on. I opened the calling app and tried to call my partner for help. It went to the dial tone and noticed that there was no signal here. The silence in the room was almost deafening. A light flickered on at the other side of the room and dimly lit up the area.

My phone has no signal
It's making my skin crawl
The silence is so loud
The lights spark and flicker
With monsters much bigger
Than I can control now

Standing in the light was all of the previous akumas I had fought. I felt the urge to go in defense mode. I looked at the ground and saw my partner lying on the ground. My stomach dropped and became full of lead as I noticed the knife stuck in his back that was most likely piercing his heart.

Welcome to the panic room
Where all your darkest fears are gonna
Come for you, come for you
Welcome to the panic room
You'll know I wasn't joking
When you see them too, see them too

The light went out and I was surrounded in complete darkness again. 'He can't be dead' I thought, starting to hyperventilate.

Welcome to the panic room
(Welcome to the

I waited for a chance to do something, my hands shaking with fear and fury. 'Hopefully they will be gone'. I suddenly heard a low chuckle resonate through the room and the sound of nails on the walls.

Still waiting, hands shaking
Maybe the coast will clear
But these voices, these strange noises
They followed me in here

My phone dropped from my hand and shattered, extinguishing any hope of making it out alive with it. It was dead quiet again and my heart rate picked up. The lights came on and I saw that Chat was standing up and in perfect condition. A smile almost graced my lips but there was something wrong. 'His suit is white?!'

My phone has no signal
It's making my skin crawl
The silence is so loud
The lights spark and flicker
With monsters much bigger
Than I can control now

"Chat Noir? But I thought you were..." He gave a low chuckle and I shivered. "Dead? Oh, you aren't wrong. He is dead. I'm Chat Blanc." I shook my head. "No, that's not possible. This is all just a terrible dream. Just some horrible nightmare."

Welcome to the panic room
Where all your darkest fears are gonna
Come for you, come for you
Welcome to the panic room
You'll know I wasn't joking
When you see them too, see them too

I opened my eye to see him standing right next to me. He gave me a sickening smirk. "That's where you're wrong Marinette. This isn't a dream." He caressed my cheek lightly and cut just below my eye with his claw.

Welcome to the panic room
(Welcome to theWelcome to the)

I tried to keep the tears from flowing down my cheeks. "Why? Why would you do this?" His smirk grows and I want to throw up. "Why not? It is my father, of course, that convinced me to help him." My eyes widened and the flow of tears quickened. "No, no." I muttered to myself.

There's no crying wolves now
'Cause the truth has settled in
Hiding under goose down
For your nightmare to begin

No-one's POV:

The black butterfly landed on Marinette's earring. Suddenly, she starts thrashing and squirming around. She screams in terror and Chat just watches in glee. Her wrists cut against the metal and blood drips to the cold concrete floor.

There's no crying wolves now (welcome to the, welcome to)
'Cause the truth has settled in (welcome to the, welcome to the)
Hiding under goose down (welcome to the, welcome to the)
For your nightmare to begin (welcome to the, welcome to the)

Tears are streaming down her face and her screams are deafening. She pleas and cries but Chat makes no move. I guess Chat Noir really is dead. Suddenly, she stops moving at all.

Welcome to the panic room
Where all your darkest fears are gonna
Come for you, come for you
Welcome to the panic room
You'll know I wasn't joking
When you see them too, see them too

A sickening grin grows on her face and her eyes snap open to reveal purple irises.
