The Dog Reflects on Love
He brings her fragrant things I wouldn't even bury.
She loves him and gives him nuzzles and caresses anyway.
I love her and fetch her slippers and she loves me too.
She scratches my ears and gives me treats every day.
That dog doesn't bring my slippers, he complains,
he's getting too fat on all those treats, every day.
Unlike him, my shaggy fur hides those pounds,
She scratches my ears and gives me treats every day.
He brought a bunch of fragrant things for her
and lost one on the way.
I fetched the inedible fragrant and laid it by her slippers.
She scratches my ears and gives me treats every day.
