About Love
Every year, I learn less about love.
I look at stars and listen
For the voices singing between them.
Does love hold them secure?
Or is love the link enfolding them?
Every year, I learn less about love.
So many names, so many words for love.
As many as the stars above?
One love with many names,
Or many loves from one name?
Every year, I learn less about love.
More words for love
Than there are stars above.
Yet one small heart can hold them all
That like the space between the stars, suffices.
