Her question caught him rather unguarded. From the intimidating look her face was trying to make, she was definitely serious. Still, none of it make sense.

"What?"

Remi had forgotten, how scary he was when he got serious. She always tried to look intimidating when she talked to him, thinking he would take her sympathetic character as a weakness. But,unfortunately she always failed. She had to make him teach her that someday. Yet,she mustered up her courage to vocalize her next phrase.

"I-I asked if you wanted to have a coffee with me" she mumbled.

Frick,I mumbled. Couldn't I find a better time to do that?. Remi thought. Now he definitely would make fun of her.

Although, that wasn't the case. The ravenette was too absorbed in his thoughts to notice such trivial details."Is this some weird kind of prank?" John asked in disbelief.

Of course it wasn't going to be so easy. Remi thought.

"No it isn't. I just thought that as King and Queen,we should stand together in unison, and stop holding personal grudges.I hope we can make a new start"

John considered his options. He could shut her invitation down, which at the time seemed too appealing, but it wouldn't help him move forward.

"I believe you already know where to start."

"Perhaps I have a slight idea" John sighed

"Ok,let's go" John agreed

"Really? Are you actually tagging along?" Remi said enthusiastically

"You seem rather shocked" John noted

"Well, yeah. It isn't often that things go as I planned around you " Remi replied

John grinned. That girl, and her honesty. Honestly, her positivism was too much for him. It is like they are polar opposites when it comes to personality traits.

During their way to the coffee shop, silence rose among the two god-tiers.

John couldn't complain though. He always envied the silence.More or less, it was a second home to him.He let his eyes wander around. Regardless,of how much life has shifted for him in the last month, life kept going, there was no use denying it.

The seasons come and go. They bring memories of seasons of the past and the promise of seasons to come. And like time itself we cannot halt them, we cannot hang on to spring or keep the summer with us for longer. Each has their time, their moment, their season. The winter gave its place to spring, and the results were obvious. The newborn flowers were scattered across Wellston, filling it with a variety of colors. For now all he could do was to follow the pinkette, who seemed to know the way.
