Seraphina woke from a deep sleep to the sound of the alarm. Half-conscious, she wriggled her arm free and slapped at her bedside table, searching for her phone as its merciless brrrrrrring burrowed into her brain. Her fingers managed to reach the sacred object, successfully shutting it down. She found herself looking at her phone's screen, with her eyes narrowing to notice any unread message.

She saw a familiar name popping up to her screen. Without a doubt, Leilah texted her last night. Any other day she would have been able to see it, but yesterday was an exception. Somehow, Elaine had managed to convince her to binge an entire season of her favorite series. She slowly pushed herself out of the bed, trying her hardest to avoid the nausea that came with the hangovers.

She successfully made her way to the bathroom, where she observed first hand the dark-circles that formed below her eyes. Cursing under her breath for being so gullible to her roommate's wishes, she proceeded to rinse herself with a few drops of water in hope that it would successful help her escape the headache that made the room swirl around her.

Her stomach growled in protest, making its needs known. She let a small sigh escape her lips, as she walked to the dorm's kitchen.

Surprisingly, Elaine was nowhere to be found. As she narrowed her eyes around the kitchen ,a glass of orange juice set on the kitchen's table gained her attention.

Ah, Elaine and her procrastination. Even if she wasn't there, she still cared about the former Ace's well being. Seraphina felt thankful to have her as a roommate.

The orange juice was notably, acceptable as she thought. She tug her phone out of her right pocket. And the message she saw, told her that she could pretty much scratch the idea of breakfast....

On the early morning on a still-chill spring, two figures stood outside the Wellston's dorms. One was Arlo, Wellston's former King standing in front of the main gates, sipping his black coffee. The other was Seraphina, Wellston's former Ace, walking towards him.

Arlo wore the same gloomy face of his, amplified by the fact that he had to wake up early to escort Seraphina to Spectre's HQ on his last day of spring break. But, although he clearly wasn't fond with the idea after everything that took place at their first meeting, he felt like he owed this to her, considering the times she had tried to manipulate her in the past.

"So, where are we headed?" Arlo asked her

"Leilah told me that we will be escorted by one of her cooperates, to avoid any unwanted conflicts"

"Can't disagree with her decision" Arlo shrugged

A silver-haired man approached the duo. Judging from his appearance, he was in his early 20s, probably a college student, from the bag he had been carrying with him.
