"wow. that is beautiful." jaina says as she looks at the necklace stefanía gave me. i open it for her and she gasps. "oh my god. there's pictures of you guys in it. that is so cute." she punches my arm.

"what was that for?" i ask her.

"you guys are so cute, i'm gonna cry. you got the best girl." i smile knowing i really did.

"how are things with you and boris?" i ask her. her face drops a little.

"well, you know. the usual. he's just got comfortable i guess? i don't know, it's just boring. he's been acting kind of weird. and all we do is argue and then go to bed. plus it's always over dumb shit." she sits on my trailer couch. i sit next to her and pull her into a hug.

"i'm sorry j. i could always say something to him you know." she shakes her head.

"no you can't."

"okay." i hold her and slip my phone out of my pocket to text stefanía.

bella<3- hey baby, jaina is pretty upset about her and boris. do you think you could talk to boris for me? see his side?
stefania<3- ooh like a spy. si bambina, i can. i'll see you at lunch :)

thank god stefania would do anything for me. i really hate seeing jaina so upset, especially because i know she likes boris a lot.

"do you think it was just sex for him? and then he got wrapped up and now he doesn't know what to do?" she asks and a tear rolls down her cheek.

"oh honey, i don't think so. you guys are just in a rough spot. you'll get through this." she cries into my arms. this poor girl.

"boris!" i yell and he stops so i can catch up to him.

"hi stef!" he says.

"hi! how have you been? didn't see you last week since i was gone." i say, hoping to start up a conversation about him and jaina.

"i've been okay! how was the trip? how are you and danielle?" he asks me. we walk towards the set.

"we're great. the trip was really really good. maybe you and jaina should take a trip? how are you guys?" i ask.

"oh, i don't know." his voice becomes more sad. "we argue all the time, i hate it. but i don't know how to fix it." he looks at me, "how do you and danielle do it?"

"well, we are madly in love. but communication. good communication. lots of sex. and lots of dates. the trip we took was super good. i seriously recommend asking jaina about it." he nods.

"that could be good for us. and more dates too. we don't do much but maybe we should." he looks up at me as we walk into the set. "i think i love her." his eyes widen as he says this to me.

"really?" i ask. he nods and plays with his hands. this is so cute.

"i think that's also a reason why. because i'm too scared to say anything."
