"is this the home of danielle savre?"

"yes."

"we have news."

my heart drops as the two police officers in front of me look at us with conflicted eyes. do they know what happened to her? is she okay? is it bad or good news? why didn't they say?

"i'm the girlfriend of danielle. is everything alright?" i finally manage to choke up. the police officer on the left sighs. pohler his badge reads. barrett stands next to me, and i can hear her shaky breath.

"unfortunately, peter brown has escaped from our custody. we came here to inform you. we may escort you somewhere so you're all safe. where is danielle?" officer pohler says and my heart drops to my stomach.

"w-what?" is all i manage to get out.

"we haven't been able to find danielle." barrett says and the look on their faces makes me instantly being to cry.

"she is missing? since when?" i put my hands over my face as i cry into them.

"last night." barrett says.

"hey, what's going on?" i hear jaina yell. i look up to see jaina and jay coming up behind the police officers.

"who is this?" they ask.

"our friends." barrett explains and they love to let them in.

"stefania baby are you okay?" jay asks as he pulls me into a hug. i can only shake my head no.

"we will put her down as a missing person and get somebody on her case right now. this could be very dangerous. stay safe and together. here is my personal number if you need."

"thank you." i hear barrett say. the police officers leave and i instantly fall into jays arms.

"danielle." i cry and jay lifts me up. he brings me to the couch where everyone sits.

"she'll be okay guys, she's a fighter." barrett says and jaina agrees. i lay there, not knowing what to think.

hour 2

"peter where are we?" i say to the man sitting across from me on the bed.

"somewhere nobody will find you. now, be good for me and stay quiet. i'll be right back." he brushes his hand on my arm and then heads out the door. he locks it and i hear his footsteps get quieter. i look around the room for anything that could be used as a weapon. there's almost nothing in this room. i decide to play it smart and follow his rules and ways. i'll figure out how to get out of here soon. i sit back down on the bed and before i know it hes back.

"change into those clothes for me." he hisses and throws things onto the bed. i pick up the clothes to reveal a cropped pink top with matching pink short shorts.

"oh, uh thank you." i say trying to seem as normal as possible. i'm scared if i act scared he will hurt me. i look at him and wait for him to leave, but it becomes very clear to me he is not going to. i turn around to change and peter yells at me.

"turn around! let me see your body." he smirks and i turn around slowly. i'm so uncomfortable so i try to change while covering as much as my body as possible. i feel his gross eyes on me as i quickly change. he grabs my extra clothes. "now sit on the bed and wait for me, like a good girl." i shiver at his last two words. he is so disgusting. i sit on the bed and he leaves the room once again. i try to stay calm. all i want to do right now is scream and cry. i want stefania. i need her, i need her to hold me.
