I slowly start to see the blinding lights, feeling like I was waking up under direct sunlight. It hurt to open my eyes, but I felt a presence beside me, immidiately alerting me. I look over quickly, seeing a startled Klaus. I groan, feeling the pain in my cheek and hands.
"O-oh, you're up! Hey! You're awake!" He says, grabbing my hand, and softly carressing it, smiling at me as he laughs in relief. "Oh thank god."
"Klaus... Where's, Allison? Is she okay?" I whisper out, my throat dry.
"Yeah, yeah Allison's okay, she's resting." Klaus says, and stands up. "I'm.. going to go get Mom and Pogo, you wait here okay?" He says, running out of the room. I feel a pain in my right eye, feeling like it was hard to open it, almost a stinging too. I grab the water sitting on the bedside, drinking it quickly. I see Mom and Pogo come in, along with Klaus and Five.
"Hey dear, you're awake?" Mom says, as she grabs my hand.
"Yeah... What's going on? How bad was it? What happened to Allison?" I ask, feeling a massive headache starting.
"Unfortunately for you.. you suffered a severe scleral lasceration, and minor lacerations to your cheek beside your eye and left hand. Your left hand will heal in time, but you must not use your powers with that hand for the time being or you risk loosing all the nerves that are in your left hand. Your eye was so heavily damaged you'd be blind... so we had to make a decision." Mom says, gulping as she finishes.
"So, you have a fake eyeball. Luckily for you, we have the science to have all your nerves and vision connected to this fake one, since having a normal fake eye wouldn't do you any good in combat. Only problem is, we only had one color, so you have one green eye. Pretty unique." Five finishes for her, and she smiles. I felt in shock... my eye? Gone just like that? I put my hand up to it, it did feel weird, but it was getting easier to open.
"Looks really cool if you ask me." Klaus says, smiling at me.
"W-What about Allison?" I say, and Pogo looks at me.
"She will be fine. She luckily didn't damage anything too severe, and she's getting more towards conciousness as we speak. Only problem is, she had her vocal chords damaged heavily. We are unsure if she will be able to speak after this." Pogo says, and I stare down in sadness.
"Vanya. Shit, where is she?!" I say, as I sit up.
"Couldn't find her, gone. We assume she'll be here soon." Five says.
"That's already happened." Luther says from the door frame. I smile, and get up.
"Okay, where is she? I-I have to apologize." I say, standing up. Klaus rushes over to me, helping me stand. I smile at him, as I steady myself.
"Follow me." Luther says, as we all go down the hall with him.

Vanya bangs on the door of the chamber, screaming at us as I watch in sadness, tears welling in my eyes.
"You locked up our sister because you think she has powers?" Diego says, and I walk over.
"She has powers. That's how me and Allison ended up like this. I saw it." I say, as Luther nods.
"Yeah, and besides Pogo told me she does. He's always known, so did Dad." Luther says, as I look away in sadness. I couldn't bare to watch this.
"Why would they hide this from us? I mean, am I the only one that didn't know this place existed?" Diego asks, both him and Klaus staring in the tiny window at the distressed Vanya.
"He hid so much from us..." Klaus says sadly.
"He hid it because he was afraid... of her." Luther says stepping up.
"Oh, that's ridiculous." Klaus says, looking at Luther.
"Is it? Dad's lied about everything else, why is this so far-fetched?" Luther says.
"If you're right, then maybe she's the one who killed Peabody." Diego says, looking back at Luther. He was dead?? Finally.
"But this is still Vanya. This is still our sister, our family. She needs help. It wasn't her fault." I say, my voice shaking at the end.
"Yeah, and for all we know, she might be struggling with this new power. I mean, it must be scary, terrifying, really to discover that you can do something that you never thought you could do." Klaus says, staring into the glass.
"Aleya, are you sure it wasn't Peabody who did this to you two? Are you sure the meds Mom gave you didn't you know..." Diego starts, as my face turns red.
"No, Diego! I know what I saw! Jenkins wasn't even there. We don't know where he was. It was just Vanya, I know that. It was her powers, but it wasn't really her fault, we pissed her off." I say, looking at her.
"Look, even if what she's saying and what Pogo is saying is half true, then she's not just a danger to us." Luther says, as we hear footsteps apporaching. we all turn around, seeing Allison. A bandage covers her throat, as she looks at all of us. "Allison, what are you doing down here? You should be in bed." Luther says, as she takes out her marker and a yellow note pad, scratching something down.
LET
HER
GO
I smile, noding. "That's what i'm saying."
"I can't do that. She hurt you. She hurt Aleya." Luther says to her, as she flips the paper, writing something else down.
MY FAULT
"I'm sorry, but she's staying put." Luther says softly to her. Allison shakes her head, going towards the door, before Luther stops her with his arm. "Just until we know what we're dealing with." She pushes him, tries to go the other way, but nothing would change his mind, and I know he'd try and stop us all day. I walk away as they argue, saddened. I didn't want to leave her, but nothing could change Luther's mind once he figures out she is semi-dangerous. I was on the fence. I loved Vanya, but damnit she hurt me. It was out of rage, I knew that, and she didn't mean to, I could tell by her face afterwards. She didn't mean it. None of us did.

I had been avoiding the mirror all day, I didn't want to know if it looked horrific or beautiful. I finally decided it was time, going into the bathroom. I rest my hands on the sink, clutching it as I slowly start to look up, seeing the gash on my cheek first, but then adjusting my eyes to themselves. I.. I didn't know if I liked it. It didn't look like me. Now of course, I always thought heterochromia was beautiful, but it was so weird seeing my brown eyes be two different colors. I knew I'd grow to like it overtime, once these headaches from it went away. I suddenly hear a rumbling, feeling everything shake around me, and I remembered that feeling. I run out of the bathroom, seeing everyone else.
"Yo, what the hell is going on?!" Diego screams out, as I look at him, another huge rumble roars out.
"Are those explosions coming f--" Klaus runs out of his room saying, before I answer him.
"Vanya." I say.
"We need to get to safety outside of the Academy." Pogo says, as I nod. Me, Diego and Klaus run one way.
"Don't forget Mom!" We hear Luther shout, as we continue running. We run as pieces of the house crumble and break, falling everywhere. We run to Mom's usual spot, not finding her there.
"Mom!" Diego calls out, not hearing her call back. "Where is she?!" Diego screams, as more rumbles come from above.
"Mom!" Klaus calls, still nothing. We call, as we run around, trying to find her and go. My heart was going a million miles a minute, the adrennaline pumping through me. My childhood shitty ass home was crumbling as we spoke, my head was pounding, and I couldn't find my mom. Suddenly, a huge chunk of the roof crumbles, falling on us as we all fall to the ground. I grunt and groan, holding my head. This wasn't going to make my headache any better. I feel a hand on me, as I look over to see Klaus coughing and grunting too, holding onto me. He stares up at the ceiling in horror, as I look too. A huge chunk of ceiling cracks and crumbles, a huge cave in was about to happen, but we had more problems. Diego wasn't responsive.
"Diego!" Klaus shakes him, trying to wake him, as I move out of the way, trying to pull them with me before they get pulled by an invisible force. I look over, Diego grunting as Klaus gets up, grabbing Diego, as I run to their aid, putting his arm around me as Klaus goes on the other side, we help him walk as we try to escape the falling apart Academy. We find a fire escape, running down it as the building starts to crumble from the outside. We make it to the alley beside the house, as we all pant from running. "Are we okay? Is everyone okay?" Klaus says, as I nod, and Diego grabs Klaus' face.
"Hey, you just saved my life, man." Diego says with excitement, and I smile.
"Okay, great." Klaus says, as they hug.
"Shit. Mom. Mom!" Diego says, looking up at the Academy. We all look up, seeing her standing in a window in one of the bedrooms.
"Mom, get out of there, now!" We all scream, trying to get her to leave, but to no avail. Diego tries to go after her, but me and Klaus hold him back, as glass smashes all around us and more of the building crumbles down, almost ready to cave in. Finally, the Academy collapses, coming down in one swift explosion. All that was left of my childhood home was rubble.
