loving you was easy,
it came naturally.
it was like tying a shoelace,
or being able to walk.
falling in love with you,
felt safe and normal.
falling out of love was harder.
it was like doing your taxes,
or starting your own business.
it was rocky and hard,
and I didn't know if I could do it.
hell, I still don't.
loving you and not loving you,
are too very different things.
one easy, one not.
and I know which ones more beneficial for me.
but I really just want easy.
