When I finally walked out of the class, I found Erina waiting for me in the corridor.
She looked at me with a mischievous smile on her face.

"You need to tell me what happened between you both right now! It was just you both in the class! Alone! You could have done so many things."
She spoke in excitement and I gave her my 'Are You Serious?' look.

"He asked me to go out with him again!!" I spoke up finally.

"Oh God! No! Is this real? My saintly best friend might actually have a chance to get herself a boy. I'm proud of you, Aries!" I couldn't help but smile as a response but then a sudden realisation dawned upon me and the smile left my face.

"Erin, there's a serious problem though. He doesn't exactly knows that I like him. He thinks that I'm trying to court someone else and he thinks that he's just helping me out." I finished my sentence in one breath.

Her eyes popped out wide. "Aries, you're so dead! Why didn't you tell me earlier? I thought that you already told him about everything. How could you be so stupid?"

True, I was stupid. But how could I tell him when I was spending the best time of my life with him. The thought of telling him the truth didn't cross my mind even once. But now, I don't know what implications this action of mine could have. One thing I know for sure is that he will stop talking to me if I tell him the truth now. I'll just be like another one of those girls who obsesses over Davis Courdon.

"Erin, I know I messed up bad but I can't tell him the truth now! He'll even stop talking to me and you out of all people know how much this all means to me." I tried to convince her to the best of my ability because for the first time ever in my life I was acting selfish for my own good.

"All right! But you have to promise that you'll tell him later on. "I hugged her as tightly as I could and felt blessed to have a best friend like her.

Erina and I were sitting at our usual place during lunch time. "Umm...I love French fries! Oh God! Thanks for creating something so beautiful like this!" My words brought a laugh on Erin's face.

"This is exactly why you're my best friend." She said. We were both so engrossed in our talks that we didn't realise that a crowd had formed in the school cafeteria. We both tried to look at what's happening.

My eyes found Davis standing in the centre of the crowd. He was arguing with someone - Bitchy Jenny to be precise.

Okay, so time to introduce Jenny to you all formally. She was my 'friend' when we were in primary school. Being popular was the most important for her, it is still. When we joined middle school, I became more attracted to books and characters while she fancied make-up and other stuff. According to her, I became 'boring' and 'no fun'. She exploited her power of being the 'Social Queen' of the school and thence her followers who stayed with me just because I was friends with Jenny left me all alone. It was one of the toughest times of my life. From eating with a group of friends in the cafeteria during lunch break to sitting alone on the bleachers, I grew up. On such an uneventful day of loneliness, I met Erin and we clicked immediately!

Standing in front of me was Jenny who was currently shouting on Davis with all her strength. I could not make out what was she speaking due to the constant chatter of the mob. I tried to walk forward to listen to the 'conversation' when I bumped into one of my classmates, James.

"James, I'm really sorry. What's going on?" I asked him, pointing towards where Davis and Jenna were standing.

"You know that Davis and Jenny fooled around a lot. Jenny thought that Davis was serious about her but we all know Davis! He doesn't do the dating thing. So, he started ignoring her calls lately and that's why she's pissed off and creating a scene here!" He told me as if it was something quite obvious.
