Seven months went by quicker than you can spell supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. And with few to no roadblocks and or hiccups.

Aayla's relationship with her father flourished, but it wasn't perfect, and in all honesty, it will never be perfect. All that really matters is that they were making tremendous progress from where they first started off to where they're at now and Aayla no longer felt like she had or wanted to punch her father in the throat — especially because he paid her the money back that he stole those many years ago.

Somehow, someway, Michael had managed to get a job at Bili's Naturals as a janitor. Aayla was a bit perturbed at the thought, but don't get her wrong. She loved to be around her father and getting to know him. But at times, she felt a little overwhelmed, especially when he's letting her into more information about his side of the family and about her mother. And that's to be expected. You can't just pop up into someone's life after many years and hope that everything will be peachy keen, because it won't be. Bili's Naturals and her home were her only safe havens where she didn't have to think about him or see him. So to see him here, threw her off her element, just a little bit.

But luckily for her, his hours were different than hers. He worked at night, whilst she worked during the day. They probably would see each other on Aayla's way out, but since she chose her hours, more often times than not, she got to leave earlier. Sometimes she had to stay back, for meetings and she would somehow manage to bump into the older man.

The trip to Aruba went a lot better than Aayla expected. She enjoyed spending time with Ichriou and his family. She loved each and every one of them, for separate reasons, and she's glad that she got to spend time with them.

The vow renewal was beautiful. Bili looked amazing and Xing was just happy to be in the presence of his wife and their family. It wasn't a long ceremony, but it was well worth the almost five-hour flight over. Not to mention, it was set on the beach so the scenery was just as beautiful as the ceremony itself. That was a well $50,000 spent, and Bili wouldn't mind doing it again.

Ichirou loved the surprise Aayla had for him. It was nothing too special, but a small party with his family. But before then, she took him out on the town to do some touristy stuff that she knew he'd like. Then after everything was all said and done, ended the night with mind-blowing sex.

But once the festivities were over, life went back to normal. Or to how things were before their vacation, which was work, work, work, work, work.

Which leads up to today. They were sitting around the table, eating breakfast and Ichirou's eyes were trained on his wife nervously. She seemed a bit off. So he decided to voice his thoughts.

"Are you okay?" Aayla sat up straight at the sound of his voice, meeting his eyes briefly before averting them just as quickly.

"Yeah," she muttered, clearing her throat before forking a large serving of eggs in her mouth. Ichirou furrowed his eyebrows, watching her intently while doing the same. He had noticed that she was acting a bit off since she came in a couple of nights before, a week ago to be exact. He had asked if she was okay at the time, but she said the same thing, and Ichirou wasn't convinced. But he didn't want to press her, because he knew how she was under pressure. Nothing good ever came out whenever she was frustrated or upset and he knew it, but he wanted to get to the bottom of it. Cause we all know the saying, happy wife, happy life.
