5 | Muse III Morning

We wake up in each other's arms, your eyes sparkle in the morning sun

I may not have dreams, but I don't need to with you next to me

Beauty and grace like the morning's birdsong

I'm so lucky to have you, my life's lottery won

You say you have to leave, but I just can't let you be

Because being without you just feels wrong

You're home right after dawn, but my day already feels done

I can't wait until come over becomes come home, and me becomes we

I can't wait until I get to be with you all day long

You have my heart in your hands, the way this rhymes is a clue

To how the end of this poem will come along

Oh my muse, I love you
