Michael drove is car down the street, his head resting in the palm of his hand that was leaned against the window. He rushed up his hair a bit to realize it looked much better than a few weeks ago when he was actually scared of going bald.
He looked at the houses he drove past watching the rain falling like crazy, feeling like he was one of those girls in that love songs and couldn't help but to giggle a bit at himself when he straighten himself up and put both hands on the steering wheel to go in a huge curve before he'd finally be home.
It was a long day at school that he sadly had to spend without Molly since she had the flu for three days now. He actually didn't know how little friends he had until he had to be alone in most classes in the past few days, he would only talk to someone who he needed to lend a book or to Calum when they had some classes together. However, it was nothing like when he talked to Molly even though he really felt confused about his feelings towards her in the past week. He started to doubt he loved her, sure he liked her in a special way, she was his first girlfriend and he thought that being with someone meant automatically loving that person but now he wasn't that sure about it.
He'd look after other girls in school and even enjoy when Vanessa or someone else tried to flirt with him (using the opportunity when Molly wasn't there, she'd kill them otherwise). He hated the fact that he couldn't just stick up to the most amazing girl ever.
"Chinese people have invented something thousands of years ago and it is called an umbrella, you know." Karen shouted from out the kitchen when Michael entered the house dripping wet from just the few feet he walked from his car iand into the house.
He threw his backpack on the floor and sat himself against the back of the couch to take off his wet boots. They were so tight that it took him a few minutes and nerves to take them off, throwing them through the living room before they fell right in front of the entering into the kitchen.
"It's just rain, okay?" Karen said when she saw him walking towards her as upset as if someone has died. "It stops after some time." she added not being able but to chuckle a bit when she sat herself on the table right next to Michael.
"It's not the rain." Michael explained groaning knowing that she'd mock him for being mad at the rain if he didn't. "I'm just tired." he actually wanted to explain his mom how he felt bad but decided not to when he stood up grabbing his jacket and running up the stairs into his bedroom.
He sat himself on the foot of the bed and took off his soaking socks before he pulled his shirt over his head too and ended up sitting up taking off his wet jeans. He put on a pair of sweatpants and ran a hand through his wet hair having the redish-orange colour stay on his fingers as he did so.
His hair colour was getting away just like his love life did.
He laid himself higher on the bed and covered with the sheets, he bent over to his cupboard and took his laptop that he hasn't used in weeks since he was always either with Calum or with Molly and now he finally had some time for himself.
At least that's what he hoped for but just as he opened his laptop and connected it to the wifi Calum called his Skype.
"What?" Michael groaned when he answered the call. He would've rather just denied it but he knew that Calum would keep calling him.
"Why are you naked? Oh God did I just interrupt Cliffoconda? I can call later." Calum put a hand in front of his eyes when he saw Michael lying in bed topless.
Michael groaned loudly as he threw his head back. "I'm not jacking off Calum." he rolled his eyes at him but couldn't help but to laugh a bit when he saw Calum laughing too. "What do you want?"
