Owing to the punya, or good deeds, that I accumulated in my past life

You have been born to me as a son in this life

For giving this opportunity of writing the Life of The Living Avatar, I offer my gratitude to You and commence writing

For this to happen without any obstacles, I request Lord Ganapati's blessings, Annamalayar's blessings and my Kuladevata's (Family God) Mariamman's blessings and Your blessings

From when You were ten years old until You were twenty, I related with You as my friend

From when You were twenty until You were thirty, I felt you as my Guru
