"Hey Mr Miyagi, can I talk to you?" Daniel was on the other side of the fence, grabbing something that Mr Miyagi had accidentally chucked over. "Have you put my name on the least for Mr Miyagi's little trees?"
"Not yet." Mr Miyagi spoke, looking at Marie. "Why?"
"Don't. I'm moving in less than a few months." Marie finally admitted to him. "To Nevada for college."
Mr Miyagi was quiet for a moment, before looking up at Marie with a smile. "Good. Smart decision."
"Wait, you're not mad?" Marie asked. She was expecting him to be at least disappointed, but he was happy.
"Why would Miyagi be mad?" Mr Miyagi asked, tilting his head a bit. "College next step in life. Miyagi knew you would leave sometime."
Marie smiled softly, shoving her hands in her pockets. "Yeah, I guess you're right."
"Tell Daniel-san yet?" Marie shook her head, looking at her shoes.
"Not yet. Everytime I try to tell him, we either get distracted or interrupted." Marie explained. "I also think he'll get angry or upset because I'm leaving."
Mr Miyagi shook his head. "Daniel-san will understand. You just have to tell him truth."
Neither Marie or Mr Miyagi were aware that Daniel was listening through the fence, his face unreadable at the new information.

"Take out or find something edible here?" Marie thought to herself. She wasn't sure if she had enough money at the moment for takeout, so opted for trying to find something edible.
The only things she had currently was a box of mac and cheese, a few apples and eggs. A knock on her door dragged her attention away from the fridge and to the front door.
"Oh. Hey Daniel." She spoke, leaning against her door. Daniel stood in front of her with a wide goofy smile. "What's up?"
"Have you had dinner yet?" He asked.
"Not yet. I was considering starving, but oh well." Marie said with a shrug.
"Not acceptable. Mr Miyagi and I are having dinner at the shop, and you're joining us." Marie raised an eyebrow, tilting her head with a smile.
"Sounds like I don't have much of a choice, huh?" Marie teased. "Sounds good. Let me grab my coat." Marie snatched her blazer hanging on a chair.
She walked out into the hallway with Daniel, locking the door before walking with him down to the car.

"What do you think about that Terry Silver guy?" Marie asked as Daniel drove towards the store.
"He seems fine. Why?" Daniel asked, his gaze moving from the road, to Marie and back to the road.
"I don't know. I just get a weird feeling from him, that's all." Marie said with a shrug. "It's probably nothing."
"Mr Miyagi seems fine with him." Daniel reasoned. "If he was really sketchy, Mr Miyagi would've called him on it."
The car pulled up to the shop, Daniel cutting the engine a few seconds later as Marie unbuckled her seatbelt. "Where's Mr Miyagi?" She asked, noticing the yellow pickup wasn't anywhere around.
"He went to go grab something for dinner, I think." Daniel replied. Marie opened her car door, shaking out her coat as she shut the door. Daniel moved to stand besides her, holding out a hand for her to grab, which she did happily.
The two walked up to the store and opened the door, the sight of food on the table making Marie smile. She hadn't noticed how hungry she was until she could smell the food in front of her.
