The girl in the glade

Chapter 9

                                                                 Gallys pov 

after finishing my work for the day i walk to the med jack hut to go find lizzie clint says she went back to her hut as i walks close i can hear her screaming i run in and see she's having a nightmare she will rip her stitches if she's not careful she starts shouting the word bleed over and over again i try to shake her out of it eventually she wakes up i pull her into and rub circles in her back as she sobs it breaks my heart to see her upset. shes the only person in this place i care about

after awhile you calmed down thinking about how stupid you probberly look right now 

"sorry" your voice cracks making you feel more embarrassed 

gally wipes your tears of and you tell him about the dreams so far you have had 3 words float catch and bleed you still hadn't figured out what they meant you went for a shower since after 3 weeks you didn't smell the best you wish you could say you enjoyed the shower but the ice cold water sent a shiver down your spine you get dressed and hobbel back out to gally starting to feel pain again but ignore it you sit in the middle of the glade waiting for the bonfire gally ran of to make his famous drink and nobody else you where close with was in sight. after awhile the pain got worse you wanted to go ask jeff for some more pain killers but feared what would happen if you moved. you put you head in your hands feeling dizzy you feel a arm on your back and see newt crouched on the floor next to you

"liz whats wrong" you can hear the concern in newts voice 

"it's just the pain is back i'll be fine just give me a minute" 

"i'll go get clint to come give you something just done die on me okay"

you slightly chuckle at newts comment as you watch him limp of to find clint. shortly after he returns with clint who gives you a glass of water and some pills Newt then runs of you glance up to see the greenie dashing towards the door which you knew were about to shut 

"does that lad have a death wish or something" you aks clint 

"it would appear so"

you watch gally tackle the greenie to the ground shortly the doors shut and you see gallys lips move as he storms back of to finish making his secret recipe you chat with clint for awhile before he disappears as gally comes over with crates of his recipy he hands you a jar and sits next to you

"seen your epic greenie takedown before"

"am glad you did i bet you 10  bucks that phyco will run into the maze within a week "

"wouldn't be the first time a greenies ended up in the maze you think just by looking at the state of me the idiot would be put of going anywhere near that maze "

"you look perfect to me so what you have a few scars doesn't make you any less perfect to me " 

gallys pulls you in for a kiss you pull away and down some of the drink gally made honestly you wish you could it tasted great but it really didnt after awhile of laughing and talking to everybody you whisper into gallys ear 

"Go on then go have your fights"

"No Lizzie I want to stay sat right here where i know your safe "

gally wraps his arm around you find it incredibly sweet but you can tell her what's to fight and you wouldn't stop him you remember about how you managed to beat gally on your first night here

"No go ahead I'll sit right here and watch you and I'll still be here when you get back let's face it I can't run anywhere exactly"  gally kisses you cheek before he gets into the ring you cheer him on while talking to Jeff and Clint you were starting to get quite close to them you glance over to newt sat behind a log who was making out with the greenie that didn't take long you thought to yourself. everytime gally won  he would glance over to you to make sure you hadn't left. not soon after everybody was shouting 

"GREENIE GREENIE GREENIE" 

you saw newt whisper something in the greenies ear probably telling him how you managed to out smart gally newt sits down next to you 

"see you have been warming up to the greenie"

newt shoots you a look of daggers its not as if you would tell anybody your not that much of a cruel sister "i haven't a bloody clue what your talking about liz"

"i think you do but remember what i said earlier my lips are sealed you cheer for your boyfriend i'll cheer for mine" 

 gally charges at the greenie pushing into a group of builders that push him back into the ring gally wastes no time in throwing him back to the ground poor lad you think to yourself but you obviously wanted gally to win the greenie gets up and whines about being called a greenie honestly what does the idiot think we should call him since he can't remember his name yet. idiot at least i didn't get to experience the nickname much since i was basically dead in the medjack hut for 3 weeks but that's obviously not the point "i think i've settled on shank" it's clear that gally clearly like to bully the poor greenies i wonder that's how everybody got to fear him you cut out of your thoughts by gally shouting loudly cleary to entherise to everybody that you where his.

"BABE what you say we call the greenie shank"

you shrug in a response not wanting newt to kill you or something after a few more shoves the greenie pushes gally to the floor he stays down you grab your clutches to run over to gall when the greenie walks over he sweeps him of his feet with a loud fud and gally quickly glances to you as the greenie gets up shouting that his name is thomas clearly a whack on the head does a lot 

not long after everybody starts to disperse gally walks over and picks you up bridal style and walks you towards your hut he places you down 

"goodnight liz" he places a kiss on your forehead and turns around to leave 

"gally do you want to stay" what were you thinking you had only just got with him but he made you feel calm and safe gally climbed into the bed and wrapped you in a hug for a moment you forgot about all your worries about being hopelessly trapped surrounded by the walls of the glade the griver that chased you thought the maze. 

you drift of to sleep you find yourself in the white room klunk not again you think to yourself you try to wake up but you can't suddenly your pushed to the ground by a griever and you die over and other again being ripped to shreds you cant wake up no matter how hard you try the familiar voice comes back shouting "DEATH" over and over again 

you wake up and glance over to gally whos peacefully asleep well you thought he was he pulls you back down into his tight embrace you lean into him before drifting back of to sleep
