Chapter 22

you run out into the scorch the sand wiping your face it feels like someone is slapping your face over and over you move your arms to shield your eyes you watch as everybody scrambles up a hill you can hear guards in the background you still don't have a clue what's going on but you can guess it's nothing good looks like your suspicion was right you let your mind wander as you scurry up the hill would gally of been the same about leaving this place   or would he of been supersious would he be proud of you or disappointed 

you look over your shoulder seeing guardsv with flashlights out looking for you guys

"we need somewhere to hide" you shout

"we'll lose them in the storm" thomas shouts back

you hear a rover

"quick hide" 

you shout you all drop down hiding behind a sand dune as rovers drive around you guys you weren't safe you needed to find shelter or they where going to find you and all of this would of been for nothing

"everybody go, go, go stay low"

what is it with thomas and repeating everything 2 or 3 times like dear me you all start to arm crawl back   you get up and break out into a run again how the hell was teresa running so fast 

"teresa hand on stay together" 

thomas shouted he must agree with what your thinking lol how can that girl run so fast she would of defo been a runner in the glade 

"i think we lost them" minho shouts out

"keep going they could be right behind us for all we know"

you see teresa run of

"where is she even going" 

you trip and fall but someone catches you see its minho

"nice catch"

these were the first words you had spoken to him since he stabbed a spear through gallys chest your eyes felt heavy even with the mention of gally but now was not the time you had to save your friends then you could reunite with gally only once you knew your friends where safe and newt of course there the only ones that mattered to you had no parents no home no love and no happiness left alls you wanted was to be with gally 

you all stumble over to teresa who seems to of come across some sorta row of windows

come one aris lets go come on" 

wait is aris okay your turn around seeing hes okay and running towards your group you see a smashed window how convenient you think to yourself

"come on" teresa jumps in

"teresa wait no don't go in there"

"get down here" she shouts you watch everybody jump in before you jump in though the conveniently smashed  window you slide down the pile of sand that must of been blown in over time it makes you feel better knowing the window has been smashed a long time maybe your just paranoid you see minho pull out a flashlight and scan the place it seems to be a old mall probberly before the flare or the sun flares

"we gotta go" thomas calls out

"no thomas stop"

"we gotta keep moving"

'tell me whats going on"

"yeah" you cut teresa of " i would like to know what's going on to"

thomas stops and walks back towards the two of you

"its wicked they lied to us we never escaped"

"i knew something was of about that place didn't i tell you all"
