You know that feeling when you're really looking forward to something, so the days leading up to it just seem to drag on forever? That was this week. I couldn't stop thinking about Friday morning and being able to see Harper again. Every night we would talk for a few hours, and she even video called me a few times while she was in her office working.

As the week went on I found myself really looking forward to being able to talk to her. Work was getting more stressful with the release of Eagle Eye: MIA getting closer, and something about talking to her every night just made all of that disappear.

Finally as Friday morning came, I woke up well before my alarm. I smiled as I laid in the dark of my room.

I get to see her today.

While I waited for my alarm to go off I scrolled through our messages and looked at a few of the pictures on her profile. I know I'm in forbidden waters. I know this is all a horrible thing to do. But I can't seem to stop. I can't stop the feeling in my chest when I see her name pop up on my phone. I can't stop the rush and the smile that comes when she video calls me. I can't stop.

Turning off my alarm at 6:30, I got out of bed and quickly showered. After drying off, I shaved my neck, trimmed my beard, and styled my hair.

It was still cool in the mornings, even though it was almost June, so I put a pair of dark jeans and a light sweater over a t-shirt. Walking out to my car, I picked the playlist I wanted on my phone, and headed towards the coffee shop.

As I looked for a parking spot, I saw Harper's Tahoe towards the back of the parking lot, and I parked next to her

As I looked for a parking spot, I saw Harper's Tahoe towards the back of the parking lot, and I parked next to her. When I walked towards the door, I saw her through the window sitting at the same booth as before, and reading a book. Stopping for a moment, I just watched her as she played with the string connected to the bag of tea leaves in her cup. Stepping through the door, I walked over to her and slid into the seat across from her.

She was so naturally beautiful. Wearing jeans, a black crop top, and an oversized grey cardigan, she looked at home in a small coffee shop.

"Hi." She said with a smile when she looked up from her book.

"Hey. Whatcha reading?" I asked as I leaned forward and looked at the words on the page.
