Chapter 17: Finaly Open

I'm sorry this got unpolished twice. I was playing GTA while editing this and sometimes by mistake I hit publish.

Crimson POV

As I sat in my penthouse office at the Casino, I can't help but feel I'm tired but happy. After our trip last week to Cayo Perico...I felt I lifted something from my chest. A weight that felt like it would never go away.

- Are you even listening?

I then came back to reality and remembered why I was tired.

- Yes Lester I hear you

I was speaking with Lester in the phone, he's been scolding me cause I let the Diamond Casinos Premium's go down. I stoped robbing it. Now that I think of it...I've stopped robbing anything since last week. I still partake in explicit content here and there but I haven't done anything crazy as of late. Except following why on Earth is the White Fang once more active with Roman.

I laughed.

- what are you laughing about?

- I regret taking that Beacon job in the first place

I was really playing with his patients.

I then heard a knock on my door. Seeing I was getting bored talking to Lester I decided to end the call.

- I gotta go, someone's here
- Maybe is Ms.Rose
- Get a Life you couch potato

I then hanged the phone and walked to my Safe. I took out a small hand gun and hid it in the back of my pants behind my shirt.

I approached the door and when I opened it I was met with Team JNPR.

- this is a surprise
- can we speak? Asked Jaune.

I opened the door and invited them in. I then guided them to my conference room and sat down.

- what seems to be the problem?
- its about Ruby

They then brought a suit case full of files. Nora opened one and then slide it to me.

I looked at it and had a few pictures. Some of people I didn't knew and others of my Crew.

- what's this?
- your crew is responsible for executing 5 Hunters affiliated with RWBY's security agency

I then let a sigh go.

- you can't prove anything
- They are wearing the same suit as you! Said Jaune.
- I like to dress well

Pyrrha then got up and looked at me.

- like what you see? I said jokingly.
- so you're telling me, these random assailants, had a $25k crimson blazer, black vest, white shirt, black ties, black leather gloves and black tip white Oxford shoes by chance?
- I know right, what are the chances?!

They looked serious. They wanted a confession out of me.
