Chapter 31: Zombies

Crimson POV

It's been a month since we managed to find the Mafias hideout. But the raid had to be pospone 4 times now since Oz wanted to travel to Mistral to oversee the operation. He was demanding of overseeing it and making sure that this problem of his is settled. Including my crew and some private mercs we had around 50 people to conduct an entire raid on this miserable people.

I look back and I see the captain of the mercs approaching me.

- yes
- my men are in place, we should get going
- I'll follow shortly

Just in case something happens, I started recording a video message to be send just in case.

Time skip 20 minutes

3rd POV

As Ozpin sat in Mistrals school he was with Professor Lionheart and they were watching via satellite everything.

All 50 men had body cameras to record anything that might happen.

23 mercs entered first to clear and open path for Crimson's crew. They were all using standard military equipment and suppressed weapons. They were at first using knifes and kukri to kill the enemy. The teams were doing progress.

It took us around 20 minutes to dispatch 260 men as quietly as possible.

But it was going as plan. But then something unexpected happened. All of them started hearing low whistling coming from the mutilated wind pipes of the mafias scum militia.

- Hahaha...I don't know who you are but you have screwed big time

Someone was speaking through speakers. Then screaming was heard. The dead started reviving and killing their people, but they themselves start to transform.

- shit

Then the surrounding of the premises blew and fire had us trap.

- now you're trap with me and my semblance, the dead sirve my every command, now let's see how you do against 280+ Zombies!

- RUN!

Both parties ran and tried to make makeshift barricades where they can fend off.

- shit...Crim I don't think we'll make the night with this ammo. Said Bankz.

Crimson could only look at her and respond.

The Merc team wasn't doing so hot either. As the crew had no casualties the mercs took heavy losses. They didn't even knew what a zombie was. But after figuring what their weaknesses were they started to kill their old comrades and started taking their ammo. Crimson quickly ran to one of his member and looked at him.

- Heinz !!! Ve need you to destroy ze beast. Said Crimson trying to bring a little humor.
- hahaha...( he laughed sarcastically) you're lucky you're like a brother hündin

Heinz then stood up and his aura started glowing a bright gold, his brown hair turned blonde. Green eyes to blue. His muscles grew as well. He took 2 kukri and broke a hole in a wall from where their barricade was made of. He ran as he started decapitating zombies left and right and the rest covered him.

Crimson then looked to another member. Then Crimson looked at the soft breacher of the group.

- hey...um....

He tried saying while looking at him and having his hand in his shoulder.

- you believe in Valhalla right?
- I hate you
