Trust

A few weeks has passed. Lily and Anton works together very well in a professional way. No special thing happened, just two usual co-workers. The two went on the settled plan which is gather the goods, inform the doctors and visit the people.

"How's the doctors?" Lily asked since Anton was the one assigned with it.

"Settled na ang lahat. How about the goods?" Anton asked back.

"Hinahanda na ng mga tao ko." Lily answered.

"That's great. Pwede na tayong umalis sa isang araw." Anton stated.

He then noticed that Lily seems to be restless and that something is bothering her.

"Okay ka lang ba?" Anton asked witnessing Lily's actions. "Lily?" he held her shoulder.

"Okay lang ako." she said as she stepped backwards to remove his hand. Little did he know that she is bothered by the fact that she will be going with him and they will be gone for a week. But she is mostly worried about what Oscar's gonna think and do.

"Lily, alam ko tuwing hindi ka okay. Pwede mo naman sakin sabih---" he was cut off as Lily suddenly speaks.

"I said I'm okay!" she exclaimed almost shouting. She let out a heavy sigh and asked, "Look Anton, alam mo naman siguro na may relasyon kami ni Oscar 'di ba?"

"Hindi lang pala kayo magkalapit, kayo na pala?" he asked obviously discouraged.

"Oo." she answered plainly.

"Kaya pala galing siya sa residential area ng palasyo noong isang linggo." he said at the back of his mind.

"Alam niyang may relasyon tayo dati, at ayaw kong isipin niya na---" she was cut off when Secretary Olegario appeared all of a sudden.

"Andito lang pala kayo. Sinabihan ko na ang pangulo tungkol sa rineport ni Mr. Reyes saakin kanina. Kailangan lang niyang permahan ang mga permit niyo then you're all set to go." Secretary Olegario explained. She then observed that the two were quiet. "I'm sorry did I interrupt something?" she asked in a concerned tone.

"Uhm...wala. Thank you for updating us Secretary." Lily answered.

They're at Oscar's office as Secretary Diana carefully briefly explains the plans to Oscar.

"...The doctors are already informed. And the goods are also set." Secretary Olegario explained.

"How about the transportation and the equipments?" Oscar asked.

"It's already settled Mr. President. We're all ready to go, after you sign our permits." Anton clarifies.

Oscar nodded and carefully scanned the permits before signing it. He sees Lily's name and was shocked to know that she is also coming. He looked at her while she's quietly chit chatting with Secretary Olegario. There's something about her going with Anton that prevents him from signing the permits that are lying in front of him. The feeling of nervousness that something might happen by the time Lily is separated from him a whole week. That something might happen between her and Anton.

"Lily..." he called out that made the three look at his direction.

"May problema ba?" she asked as she approached him.

"Sasama ka pala?" he whispered as she comes closer to him.

"Oo." she answered plainly that hides the fact that she's nervous of what he's reaction will be.

"Sigurado ka?" he asks again hoping she'll refuse.

"Mm-hmm. Kailangan ako don." she answers. "Bakit? May problema ba?" she asked trying to know if it bothers him.
