It's the next day around 1pm.

Edwin: Mr. President, Secretary, handa na po ang mga sasakyan.

Secretary Diana nodded. Secretary Diana and Captain Salonga left the room. Secretary Borja noticed that Oscar is still not following them.

Delfin: Hindi pa po ba kayo aalis sir?

Oscar: May hinihintay pa ako.

Lily enters the room.

Lily: I'm sorry, napaghintay ko ba kayo?

Oscar: Hindi naman, paalis namana din tayo.

He stands up and turns to Secretary Borja.

Oscar: If you'll excuse us Secretary, we have to go.

Secretary Borja stands up.

Delfin: Sige sir, mag-iingat po kayo.

Oscar nodded and they leave the room. In the car on the way to venue...

Oscar: Lily?

Lily: Hmm?

Oscar: Do you have any plans after the event?

Lily: Mag di-dinner kami ni Meilin.

Oscar: Ahh, si Ms. Yang. Ofcourse. Bestfriend mo pala siya.

Lily smiled.

Lily: Bakit? Kailangan mo ba ako sa palasyo?

Oscar: Hindi hindi. Uhm...tinanong ko lang.

Lily: Ikaw? Anong plano mo after the event?

Oscar: Di-diretso lang siguro ako palasyo.

Lily: You can join us if you want. (she smiled)

Oscar: It's okay, oras niyo yang dalawa. Siguradong marami kayong pag-uusapan niyan, baka maka distorbo pa ako.

Lily turned to her side out the car window. She remembered what she and Meilin talked about last night. A few minutes later, they arrived at the event. As they enter the function hall, they see the investors talking with each other. The two approached them.

Lily: Hello everyone!

The investors face them.

Lily: I would like you to meet President Oscar Hidalgo. Mr. President, this is Ms. Li Wei, Mr. Wang Min, Ms. Meilin Yang, and ofcourse you already met, Mr. Sy.

Oscar shaked their hands respectively.

Oscar: Nice to finally meet you all. I would like to thank you personally for trusting us with investing on this project. (he smiled at them)

Wang Min: It's our pleasure Mr. President.

Li Wei: Mr. Wang is right, it's a great pleasure to be part of this project. It could benefit us and your country so it's a double shot.

Mr. Sy: A double shot indeed Ms. Li.

Oscar: Well, if it weren't for Lily, this wouldn't have happened. So I would like to also take this opportunity to thank her.
