I stood there dazed a tear running down my face. I held the letter a shark gave to me. It didn't say much.

I'm sorry I had to leave. I love you. I am so grateful I met you that day. Live a happy fulfilling life, my little guppy.

He was dead. My dad died, all because Tobi used him like everyone else. My whole body shook. I was so very sad. But that was overrun by anger. Everyone was dead because of his manipulation. What were they to him? A simple tool to be used. What was I?

I folded up the piece of and grabbed a few things. I walked out looking up at the sky. You all told me to find my path. Then so be it. I can see it now. I wanted to be free. I didn't want to be a tool to be disposed of. I wanted to do something good. To help. I wanted to fight for others.

I left the base only to stop as Kabuto stood in my path. My eyes narrowed as I moved to grab my blades.

"If you're trying to stop me. I suggest you give up, " I warned.

"I'm just here to wish you luck. We'll be enemies from this point on, " He said.

"Were we ever allies, " I scoffed walking by him.

I went to leave but my wrist was grabbed. I turned around preparing to insult him. But as I did his lips met mine. I was stunned. He moved away as a tear ran down my face.

"I've been meaning to do that for years. So I thought now was the best time before you leave, " he said.

I simply turned away from him and began walking away.

"Yoshi. I've loved you this whole time, " he called out.

"Our time passed long ago Kabuto. The feelings I once had are gone, you should let yours go as well, " I said walking away.

Kabuto was left alone watching her walk away. Realising he missed his opportunity with a wonderful woman. All he could hope for now. Was that their paths didn't cross during this war. And he wouldn't have to hurt her.

Yoshi decided to help the allied shinobi forces, however, how she went about making contact didn't go as planned.

So she now sat locked up bound by chains as a cloud nin observed her carefully. Yoshi sighed looking at the dark-skinned man with platinum blond hair.

"It's Dauri, right? If I was a threat why would I let you capture me? In fact, I could escape these restraints quite easily?" She said.

"But could you get out of here alive, " he retorted.

She just sat down with a huff.

"Come on. Give me a chance to prove myself. Ask me anything you want. I'll do my best to answer it, " she said.

He looked at her as she slumped in a corner.

"Why did you join and stay with the Akatsuki. And why only now did you leave?" he asked.

Yoshi tensed not expecting that question.

"I thought you would ask about their plans for the war. Their abilities that's kind of stuff, " she said confused.

"If you are not willing to tell me then so be it. I guess you weren't serious about proving yourself, " He said.

He was about to leave probably to switch shifts. Yoshi was conflicted about what to do.

"Wait! I'll tell you. If it'll prove myself. It just may take a bit of time to explain, " She said.

Darui looked back at her. He didn't trust her in the slightest. But it was his job to find out if she was useful or not. They only had a little bit of time left before the war began.
