I sat in a tree as the blond idiot sat under it. He was mumbling to himself trying to figure out some inner conflict. He looked up at me and I saw the distress in his eyes. I sighed and jumped down and sat beside him.

"What's eating at you kid?" I asked.

"My friend he's being so stupid. He is so consumed by his revenge he can't see the people around him. His path will only bring more pain. He should stop. He should talk to me I know his pain I never had any parents" Naruto mumbled.

My eyes narrowed as I glared at the boy. He noticed and looked at me confused. I stood up and walked to stand at the edge of the small creek. What he said was so naive.

"Who are you to tell him what to do?" I said.

"I'm his friend!" Naruto yelled.

"If you're his friend you should accept him for who he is. You could never understand the pain of losing your parents and watching the die. You never had parents, therefore, you never had the bonds to lose."

"Even so why is he taking the oath of revenge when there are people here will to support him!?"

"Because sometimes revenge is the only thing that keeps you going. The only reason you live. The only goal you have in your life. It may seem like a horrible way to live but it gives you a purpose to live. It's the only thing you can cling onto after losing those good times knowing it will never happen again. So I'm that moment of despair you cling onto the only emotions you feel hate, sorrow and vengeance because if you don't cling onto them you'll just feel empty and have no reason to continue. Do you know what it's like to have to kill a brother who you once loved and loved you?"

Naruto was frozen in placed as he looked at me shocked. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.

"All I'm saying is to you what he is doing is stupid but to him, it's the only thing that keeps him going. And as his friend, you have to see that." I said a bit more calmly.

"You say it as if you've experienced it." Naruto said.

"It's a long story that I'm not getting into." I said firmly.

"You're attituded sure has changed because if this topic, Minori." Naruto mumbled.

I slightly tensed. I forgot I'm not Yoshi right now I'm Minori. I took a deep breath and turned to Naruto with a smile.

"I'm sorry I guess I just got a little worked up." I said with a sweeter voice.

"You have a lot of secrets don't you?" He asked.

I only smiled before I turned away looking into the water at my reflection.

"Well, that doesn't matter because we're friends and I trust you." He said happily.

I smiled before saying my goodbyes and leaving. He trusted me hey. He's such a naive brat. And yet I found myself becoming quite fond of him and his purity. Unfortunately, they would be destroyed in the cruel unforgiving ninja world we live in. But who knows maybe that boy who has such pure and just ideas and goals can change this world we live in.
